### 2/5 — Giant step backward

*2021-08-12*

Used to have big buttons for each common category, now you have to scroll very long list. Interface is clunky now when it used to be well thought out.

### 3/5 — Good app in general

*2021-08-05*

I like the app in general it’s easy to use snd EM gets right on it after I submit.
My only problem? It used to show up on my iPhone desktop but now I have to go to App Store every time I want to use it! What’s up with that?

### 3/5 — Will you be adding more cities?

*2021-02-11, version 4.8.5*

My cities isn’t listed, and I couldn’t find a place to add it.city is Port Hueneme.

### 4/5 — Good for what it does

*2021-01-06*

Other than being extremely ugly it’s a basic app that does the one thing it’s suppose to.

### 3/5 — Improvements rewuired

*2020-05-26*

Needs to support ability to upload more than 1 photo and ability to add photos after a report was alredy sent in. This would rely help in response time.

### 2/5 — Can not connect

*2019-11-25*

City employees cannot logo in after latest update

**Developer response:** We have not had any customers report this problem to our support team. If you are still having trouble logging in then we suggest you contact support@gogovapps.com and we will assist you.

### 3/5 — Less interactive than SeeClickFix

*2018-01-01*

Only using this app because my home town promotes on their website and they no longer seem to follow issues on the SeeClickFix site/app.

A few things GORequest should consider for future updates;

1) have searchable database that allows users to view and follow up on issues reported by another user in the area.

2) add the option to post more than a single photo per issue. This could be either as part of the official posting or when adding follow up information.

3) also, if “signing in” gives the user access to more functions, then make that option more clear. Currently one can post an issue without signing in, which is fine but elsewhere in the app the option shows up without explanation of benefits.

It’s what’s available here for me and it’s only as good as my towns response to reported issues. So far, I’ve had to report issues twice in order to get a response. Wonder if “signing in” would change that...

**Developer response:** We are rolling out an update for each of our customers which addresses many of your suggestions. We have plans for the #1 later this year but #2 & 3 are addressed. To get this update, your city must have our branded app which we are working with all customers to push these out over the next couple months. Thank you for your feedback.

### 3/5 — Just ok.

*2017-08-18, version 3.3.2*

Ok app not great.

### 3/5 — Good but needs work

*2015-10-27*

I've been using this app for several years and am mostly happy with it.

As of this writing version 3.1.4 had two pretty big flaws.

1. You can not take a picture when submitting your report. Selecting this option in the app leads to a blank black screen in the camera. I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.4.1.

2. You can only report a concern in your city while you are in or very close your city. If you see something on your way to work and later launch the app to report it while away, your city is not available as a selection.

These annoyances beside, it's an otherwise serviceable app. However the biggest value to this app is ultimately the responsiveness of the city you live in to do something about your reports.

### 4/5 — First user?

*2013-11-23, version 2.3.1*

Don't know if this is a new app, but I just found it and it's easy to use. Hopefully it works and the city responds to requests.

### 3/5 — Photo submission

*2013-09-14, version 2.1.0*

Great app but it does not allow me to add a photo that is already saved to my phone. I can only add a photo if I can take the picture while creating the ticket.

### 4/5 — Venice311 is an awful site

*2012-12-20, version 2.1.0*

It and its twitter account are run by an awful person.

### 1/5 — No city of Irvine

*2023-03-28*

Irvine is on the website, but not in the app. Can’t use the app to report issues in Irvine.

### 1/5 — App and service could be better.

*2020-06-29*

This is a great concept. We farm in areas where piles of trash are constantly dumped. Abandoned cars etc. the last request I made I recurved an email saying the case was closed but the problem was never addressed. Now the last few times I’ve tried to use this app the app will not load.

### 1/5 — Needs update

*2017-12-02, version 4.5.0*

Was awesome! Now doesn’t work. iOS 11 nothing. I sent hundreds of requests and got results! Now I can’t do anything. Help!

### 1/5 — No stats

*2017-11-27, version 4.5.0*

Can't open it at all... Keeps closing! Used to be great!

### 1/5 — Crash

*2017-11-20, version 4.5.0*

App crashes immediately when you press new issue.

### 1/5 — New version crashes

*2017-01-20, version 3.3*

The newest release crashes as soon as you click new issue.

### 1/5 — Needs to be updated for iOS 10

*2016-12-15, version 3.1.4*

This app needs to be updated for iOS 10.

### 1/5 — App Problem

*2014-08-31, version 3.0.0*

While opening the GoRequest app on the IPod, it returns back to home screen. I could not open the app.

### 1/5 — GPS Doesn't Work

*2012-11-12, version 2.1.0*

I try to move the map and it changes my location after a couple seconds. App won't let me submit an issue down the street. Lame - Don't bother with this app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good app!

*2019-10-24*

I have used this on a couple of occasions in the past year or so. Our county staff is very quick to respond.

I find it much easier than phone calls or driving the 20+ miles to get to the county offices.

Also, being able to upload photos of necessary is terrific!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-09-05*

I was told about this app by city staff. It is integrated seamlessly into the cities system and has different issues categorized. It also has the means of attaching photos and managing issues current and past.

### 5/5 — Works Great

*2019-04-05*

I use this all the time near LA. I ask nicely to clean graffiti or pick up trash dumped in the alley or fill a pothole. I snap a picture and move the map to the location and I’m done. Usually completed within the week.

I don’t know why the bad reviews. It works great in my city.

### 5/5 — Wonderful app!

*2014-10-24, version 3.0.1*

Easy to use. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Excellent App!

*2014-10-07, version 3.0.1*

This app is amazing and ideal for communities where the little do the most and the most do a little. This makes it very easy for everyone to be involved and take part in keeping their area vibrant. Especially for a city like Stockton :-)

### 5/5 — Great APP

*2014-06-28, version 2.3.1*

Great App to report things around the city. City officials respond quickly an take action.

### 5/5 — Only in America !:-)

*2014-01-15, version 2.3.1*

Great application ! Amazing what the government does to improve life in the USA. Congratulations !

### 5/5 — Love it.

*2013-11-07, version 2.3.1*

Absolutely live this app. Very easy to use and the city is super responsive. Nothing bad to say about the app at all.

### 5/5 — Great App for Clovis locals!

*2013-06-04, version 2.1.0*

Reporting things to the city has never been easier. Anything from downed trees/branches, broken signs & sidewalks, sprinklers shooting in the air, abandoned and illegally parked cars, and even deceased animals in the street. I appreciate our city's quick response as well.

### 5/5 — Great app...

*2012-10-02*

I've read some of the reviews and I don't think people realize your city you live in has to purchase the product before you can use it in the area you live in. My city has it and has posted the most requested topics on the mobile side. The topics that aren't on mobile, can be found on the city website. Certain topics, like barking dogs...are ordinance violations and probably need to be reported to the police department directly. Some of those violations can't be reported online. The mobile app is designed for potholes and city issues that don't need immediate attention. The app is ever changing for the better, and it's user input like ours that will make it better. I use it all the time and love it!
