The go shadow app made it possible to take in every step of the process and see it objectively represented in front of me. Takes some time and you have to have your staff on board and understand it’s to improve their work day as well as patient’s experience. An App That Actually Adds Value *2018-06-01* I recently took an operations position at a company with warehouses all over the country. As I quickly came to realize there was no real set way to do things. My initial task was to add some standardization to these fragmented procedures. I learned in graduate school that you need to have a set process flow for every, little task. I plunged into Excel and PowerPoint, yet found this far too time consuming. That’s when I had a fortuitous encounter with goShadow. I was able to do the same amount of mapping in a tenth of the time. The combination of ease of use, time required, friendly/prompt customer service and the subsequent process map created really showed my superior that I was a good hire. Was it me? Maybe a little, but I owe my current standing in the company to goShadow. You can easily capture and categorize your notes. You can also take / attach pics and rate each action. The reporting side on the web takes all of your data and organizes it in a way that helps you discover obvious room for improvement of a process. Even though this works for patient process improvement it can be used for any process across any industry. ### 1/5 — Poor iPhone and trial period experience *2017-07-18* I downloaded this to shadow a process in my hospital. This took 3 hours and the app appeared to work well for recording this. Unfortunately this is where the problems started. I was unable to magnify the photo thumbnails later. I was unable to sync the shadow event and then the whole shadowing experience disappeared and I am currently unable to resolve this. Totally wasted my time.
