Thank you for using Goshuin Meguri. We built this update to make your visit records a deeper experience. New: Tsugibi — the shrine fire Every shrine and temple holds a fire. It grows stronger with each visit, and when no one comes, it slowly returns to ash. - See each shrine's fire state on its page (5 stages: Great Fire, Tsugibi, Lantern, Ember, Ash) - Chain of keepers: trace the anonymous lineage of who has carried this fire, and since when - First fire: the record of the first person to light a shrine's fire remains - Fire shelf: the fires you watch over, gathered on your home screen - Fading alert: get notified when a fire you watch is about to go out (can be turned off in Settings) - Map pins now carry a small flame, so you can see where fires burn from afar - A new moment of ignition plays when you record a goshuin or a visit - Carrying a fading ember, rekindling from ash, or lighting a first fire now earns you extra En Improved: Ranks renamed in the language of fire - New rank names: Traveler, Lightbearer, Fire Warden, Flame Warden, Grand Fire Warden - Rank badges are now displayed New: Shrine grounds gallery - Photos in visit records are now auto-tagged (torii gate, main hall, purification fountain, sacred tree, and more — tap to correct) - Shrine pages now show a "Grounds" gallery, filterable by tag Other improvements - You can now delete jyuyo information you posted - Added "Developer's Hermitage" in Settings - Bug fixes and performance improvements
