You should allow for a more personalized experience, for example if I could save a favorite, mark a future broadcast for an “up next” feature. I would like to create my own personalized experience within the app without having to download content and taking up storage space on my device. In addition, this personalized experience would be the same on any device. In addition, would love a “continue watching” feature. The stream app is not even close to replacing the media app. Can’t clip video segments or organize media into any type of presentation. Also missing many of the features found in Saints like some the programs or podcasts. Thanks ### 2/5 — Miss the features of the media app *2024-09-22* I have tried to use this app since it replaced the Media app. I have tried, and it has failed me. It doesn’t do anything that I need that I can’t get from the gospel library app. The media app was so useful in preparing my primary lessons. The trimming, presentation, and playlist features were extremely helpful in putting together and teaching a seamless lesson. As it is currently, I have to go back and forth in one or more apps to find the downloaded content that I am unable to organize as I would like. This leads to lost time teaching the children who are watching me mess with my device. Also, the search features across the board with the lds apps and websites leave much to be desired. I usually end up using google search to find leaf me to what I am looking for on the lds site. ### 2/5 — Why only one radio option?? *2024-09-16* Why is there only one radio option?? Huge step backwards! If I only want to listen to the Tabernacle Choir and not pop LDS music, there’s no way to do that on the app. Why can I choose radio channels on the church website, but not this app?? Agree that some of the talk content added so much to the prior app and I’m baffled why this would be taken away. I would think a new app should expand your listening choices, not limit them! ### 4/5 — Request: make a stream of randomized music & talks *2024-06-03* Hello, I am looking for an place that streams a combination of music & General Conference talks. I’d love for them to be randomized and for it to play 2-4 songs between each talk. It would be amazing if the talks went back 30+ years. The music can be the Tabernacle choir along with other inspiring music. Do you know if this already exists somewhere or if you can provide it here? Thanks!! ### 2/5 — No casting support *2024-04-21, version 1.3.0* Kind of pointless for us since we can’t cast to Google TV or Chromecast, forcing us to resort to using the YouTube app with its… unfortunate recommendations and annoyances that the whole family has to see. ### 2/5 — Confusing *2024-03-23* The previous media app was great. It had images and videos all together and was easy to save, download, and find where the downloaded items were. As far as I can tell, the Gospel Stream app only has videos. I can’t find any still images at all. For those of us who are not tech savvy, it feels like things are changed so quickly that by the time we figure it out, the app has been changed to something new and more confusing. Just keep in mind those of us who are more on the tech illiterate side of things when you’re developing these apps. ### 2/5 — Apple TV 24/7 Radio issue *2024-02-25, version 1.2.1* While streaming the 24/7 Radio on my Apple TV the screen saver comes on and then eventually the TV shuts off. In addition, this personalized experience would be the same on any device. ### 2/5 — Missing features *2024-02-11* Please bring back the following features that were so beneficial in the Gospel Media App: 1) Trimming- This was so useful! I loved being able to quickly play shorter clips from longer videos, especially conference talks. It’s so much more impactful to be able to share instantly instead of trying to fumble around to find the portion you wanted to share. 2) create presentations/playlists—I loved the ability to categorize the videos I was saving by topic or lesson. It kept me more organized. 3) create a login to be able to save videos and access them between devices—this was a great feature. If I do all the work to save my videos to my iPad, but for some reason when it’s go-time it doesn’t work. It would be great to be able to switch over to my phone and go to my saved presentation (see #2) and have them all there in the same place without having to search. If you’re going to bring out a new app to replace a good app, please make it better, not worse. ### 4/5 — Beautiful app but…. *2024-01-05, version 1.1.1* Why isn’t their an easy way to find the Book of Mormon videos? Why aren’t the Testament and Legacy movies available for family movies? I don’t have a gospel music avenue anymore. Others are non lds and there is just something else about this app and the music it plays. Although I wish the music was updated and more geared for an adult audience. But I don’t want something like the other Christian stations we have. I know I’m asking for a lot. In the end I’m grateful for the station as it is of it works. It doesn’t work once I turn my phone on sleep; after I turn the app on. We're also evaluating Podcasts. ### 1/5 — Failed sign in *2024-09-27, version 1.4.1* Over and over, both me and other family members enter our login for family search and it gives an error-useless app ### 1/5 — Circle Notifications *2024-09-25* When the app is forced closed and a circle notifications is received, when you tap on the notification, the app opens but does not take you Circles message nor is there a badge count in circles indicating you received a circle message. This will work if the app is open and in the background. I tried to post this in feedbacks feature in the app, but I get a server error when submitting. ### 1/5 — Sacrament meetings *2024-09-08, version 1.4.1* I tried to view but there are no sacrament meetings on it but it was there two months ago. It was there for two months but you stopped showing them! I am deaf. I have no interpreter! You better fix it! I'm really angry it's gone. I loved turning on the radio and listening to all kinds of different gospel related stuff. Now the radio is just music. All of the conversations and podcasts from the Mormon/Saints Channel are gone and this new app is empty and vapid. When will the LDS church wake up and catch up? The gospel of Christ doesn't have to be hokey, sappy and boring ya know. I'm puzzled over the lack of coherent content for youth, members, investigators etc. The LDS faith has huge amounts of resources yet their productions are cringeworthy at best (ahem the BofM videos), difficult to find and rarely work properly. The recorded songs for children are painful to listen to because they are poorly done. There are no animated videos for children to go along with the songs. It's almost like the people in charge of LDS production believe their faith is so superior that it will just do all of the work for them. I'm sick of spending tons of time looking into other platforms for religious content for my kids that the LDS church has no good reason not to have available. I'm sick of it. Members are taking it upon themselves to try to do something about it which speaks volumes about our leadership and seeming lack of focus on this area. ### 1/5 — Slow, buggy *2024-04-10, version 1.3.0* I use the app on an Apple TV 4K. The app is slow and buggy. One huge annoyance: the app doesn’t remember your spot in videos. If I’m re-watching a 2hr session of conference, every time I come back to it I have to scroll through and try to find where I left off. Please add a “continue where I left off” or “play from beginning” option. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love this app *2025-10-16* Love being able to go to live broadcasts in two clicks. Same with recent broadcasts. I love being able to go to wholesome content without distraction and that I can navigate away from the app and still have content playing, as well as have my place saved when I close app and return. It’s not just convenient it’s a blessing. ### 5/5 — Please use *2025-04-18* Problems were everywhere with this app but it has blossomed and become beautiful.
