## What is Got it Good?

Life can be stressful. You still might have it really good.

Got it Good is a small daily reminder of the good things that are easy to miss. Answer a few quick questions once, and each day Today brings you:

• A beautiful photo: a different public-domain nature photo each morning, or your own photos if you'd rather (or a mix of both).
• One good line: a good thought, a fact about the world, or a bit of good news, with its source.
• Something you love: the people, pets, places and proud moments you add, with a gentle line about one of them.
• Today's Gig: Gigitude, one thing you're grateful for, or a Daily Gig, one small thing for someone else. Write it down, tap "Thought of one" or "I did it", and it's done for the day.
• Spin for Good: one spin a day for a Daily Gig, one of your photos, a good line or a fact.
• Say goodnight: in the evening, watch the sun set and name one good thing from today. It rests in the night sky, under the moon.

BUILT GENTLE
Everyone has suffering, and pain can be subjective. Just because someone else has it "worse" on paper doesn't mean your pain is any less. On a rough day, tap "Rough day?" and Today turns softer: a kind line, the things you love, and a gentle evening.

YOUR GIG INDEX
See roughly where your circumstances land next to the world's: household income, expected lifespan, schooling, and everyday basics like clean water and internet. It's one number out of 100, shown in rounded bands from World Bank, UN and US government data, with every source and year listed. Your name, lifespan and income are optional. These are estimates from public data, not a measure of your life, and not advice.

SEE IT DIFFERENT WAYS
• 100 people: find yourself among them, ringed in gold with a small YOU tag.
• 8 billion: a little 3D planet you can spin, with you standing on it.

MAKE IT YOURS
Build a pixel avatar, or be a gold star. Turn on one Morning notification that takes turns between today's line, Gigitude, the Daily Gig and a photo of something you love, and a Goodnight nudge in the evening. Both are off until you turn them on.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
Add the Got it Good widget, small or medium: a nature photo behind today's line, then today's spin. It never shows your own photos, so nothing personal appears on your Lock Screen.

SHARE IT
Make a share card, square or story-sized, light or dark, and send it from the share sheet.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No sign-up needed.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
• Your answers, photos and notes stay on your phone. We never see them.
• Works fully offline.
• Erase everything anytime in You.

Want to pass some of it on? The Give tab links to well-known charities; giving happens on their own websites in Safari. Got it Good takes no cut and never sees your gift.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-11-02

Fixes Got it Good not opening on iOS 15 and 16, and the globe on older iPhones.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-31

Spin for Good: one spin a day, from the new Spin tab in the middle. Land on a Daily Gig, one of your photos, a good line or a fact.

A Home Screen widget, small or medium: a nature photo behind today's line, then your spin once you've spun. It never shows your own photos, so nothing personal appears on your Lock Screen.

One Morning notification instead of five reminders: it takes turns between today's line, Gigitude, the Daily Gig and a photo you love. Goodnight stays.

Also: some Daily Gigs now offer an "Or:" you can do from anywhere, adding a photo to something you love is easier, and Erase everything now clears the widget and your notifications too.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-30
