I love how you can pray with others and set your daily nudges. I would highly recommend this app! ### 5/5 — LOVE hearing the Word of God during the day *2020-03-25* What I love most about this app is that I can adjust my scripture feed to show me Bible verses based on what I need to hear about the most. Right know I’m struggling with fear and want to hear more about peace and joy, and I want to worry less. I also love the pray requests and the ability to have a list of whom I’m praying for! And I like the way my daily Devotionals and Bible study is organized - it keeps me on track and makes finding things and reading through so much easier! ### 5/5 — Great to keep me connected with scripture. *2020-03-25, version 8.3.2* This app is a great way to keep me in the Bible. It sends me notifications to remind me to read scripture every day. It is also has a prayer piece that allows you to pray for other’s requests or post your own prayer request. ### 5/5 — What a Great App!!! *2019-10-01* It is such a great app that really customizes content for each user. It is a real way to see how the scriptures really relate to modern day life. I am so grateful for this app as I am on my phone throughout the day and no matter what I am dealing with I can see God’s living word which strengthens me when I need it most. ### 3/5 — Not the best anymore *2019-06-27* I used to be able to see the each verse in its entirety unless it was really long. Being too busy can rob us of quiet moments with God. The app is a good reminder to stop for a moment and Be Still. Suddenly the app updated and not only did I lose all the notes I had already written down, but now there’s no option to make notes anymore ! This makes it very hard to write down my thoughts when I can’t have a journal around 😞 ### 4/5 — Notifications *2018-06-11* Hi, thanks for the nice app. FYI I - and I believe others, too - would appreciate a function to be able to control the number of notifications I receive each day etc. If this already existences I haven’t found it. Feedback in the spirit of continuous improvement— ### 3/5 — Good content, unreliable statistics *2017-10-04* I'm giving it 3 stars because the content is good. I like receiving daily messages that are tailored to me based on the spiritual profile I filled out. And as situations in life change, you can retake the spiritual profile to change the daily messages you receive. The bad thing about this app are the statistics. I read the message every day. Yet the page that should indicate I've read every day says I haven't read any. It tells me I can improve and encourages me to come back daily. When you're goal oriented, this is frustrating. The other page with the pie chart also doesn't change from a long time ago, even though I know I'm reading the messages. I've just gotten to the point that I know it's wrong and ignore it even though I check it periodically to see if it's correct. But it does mean I won't be 'sharing' my goals with anyone since they're not correct. That doesn't hurt me...it just hurts go tandem because it means I won't be recommending this app to others. ### 5/5 — LOVE this app *2017-07-23* Been using for about 2 years now and it has been so helpful! Little thoughtful devotionals specifically picked for whatever season of life YOU are in. Verses of scripture specifically picked for YOUR personal struggles. I couldn’t select an answer to the question “how many times a week do you read the Bible?” I deleted the app since I couldn’t sign up. ### 1/5 — Log in denied *2018-06-13, version 7.0.2* The release of the updated app refuses to allow me to log in. ### 1/5 — Was a good bible app *2018-06-08, version 7.0.1* The new update is terrible. It’s hard to follow what has been read and what hasn’t. It’s trying to be both a full bible and a supplement, neither of which it does well. ### 2/5 — Not as good as other apps *2023-03-23, version 8.7.1* It is ok. It is very hard to navigate . It did not give me any blessing. ### 2/5 — Login issues *2019-05-21* Only giving this two stars because your content is only as good as the accessibility of your app. Every time I went to log in (which is a pain btw) there was an issue with my email or password i.e. “invalid login”, “email already in use” - but no, you can’t log in with that email, etc. Way too much stress for something I’m accessing to help me in my walk with God. ### 2/5 — Please bring back writing notes *2018-10-20* I was so disappointed when you discontinued letting us write an answer to the questions. You still ask a question, why not let us answer it? ### 2/5 — New version "Meh" *2018-06-14* Really like the content, and came to depend on go tandem as a great supplement. I just did not like the new version interface with its horizontal scrolling. It's not as easy to see which days I might have missed, and to scroll back to find a recent verse I might not have marked. I'd still recommend the app, but please, rework the interface again. This one takes away from a great app. ### 2/5 — New version not yet as good … *2018-06-14* I love GoTandem and open it every day. However, the newest release, while prettier, is a bit confusing compared to the old version. - How do I see which notifications I have not yet read? I can’t get the badge icon to go away. - Do we swipe left or right to advance to newer notifications? (I now know that the newer ones are on the right) - The reminders seem to have changed - they now just remind you to go into the app rather than giving you a new verse to read at that moment. I prefer the old way. - My favorites are not syncing with the app. - Are notes no longer part of the app? Now when I open the app I’m not sure if there is a specific verse to read or just a bunch to scroll through. When going to the web version, it seems to add several new verses to read at once, rather than a verse to read at the time I set for notification. Again, the old way was much better. ### 2/5 — Confusing & Frustrating *2018-06-12, version 7.0.2* I have thoroughly enjoyed engaging w/ God’s Word everyday by using GoTandem. It has spurred me on to interact more frequently w/ Bible passages & the in-depth questions have me examining myself more closely in relation to those passages. However, I wholeheartedly agree w/ QuezXLV: The update is confusing. I would add it is also now frustrating. • The notifications seem like a never-ending revolving door w/ no end or beginning. It is impossible to recognize unread passages from completed passages. Can completed readings be deleted? • Can notes be added to passages? Where are the passages which had notes added to them prior to the update? (I’d love to be able to find/access the passages I personalized prior to the update.) • Is there a search function to aid in finding specific verses? Will there be a search function to aid in finding personalized notes added to verses? • The updated version is merely counting the number of passages scrolled past instead of the number interacted w/ or read (my scroll count for 1 day was 99 b/c I tried to find a beginning to the list of passages). Possibly change the counter to accept only those verses opened & then closed/deleted/favorited. Please consider: • A tutorial for the first opening of the new update. • The ability to delete read passages. • Bringing back notes. • Re-thinking the structure of the reminders. Thank you for providing a way to engage & interact w/ God’s word! The new version has confused me. And it seems like their always adding more. ❤️ The daily verses it sends are always right on for what I need to hear. (Even if it’s hard to face my own failures) It did take me a while to figure out the verse counter. But I realized it only counts your reading if you click on the alerts on your phone. I do wish it tracked the verses in other ways as well. But once I knew this, I just make sure to click on my notifications periodically through my day and read each verse from there. ### 5/5 — This app keeps me in touch with the Bible.
