When u max a skill it should be big and bad. Solaris is literally the only thing to take no matter what character you pick. With out it you will not beat the anything. Need more viable options. No point in maxing ice shards when it is completely useless even at rank 10. More new skills would be great with bigger and better effects. Maybe if you max two certain weapons it evolves to a super weapon. Other wise good time killer and temp replacement until either vampire survivors comes to mobile or a better game comes along. ### 5/5 — Great game *2022-07-02, version 1.2.4* All I can really say is great game.. ### 5/5 — Wonderful Game with Huge Potential!!! *2022-06-30* I’ve really been enjoying this gem so far, so much that I’m writing my first App Store review on it The game provides tons of replay value and the grind is really fun thanks to the incredible visuals and satisfying gameplay. I would like to see some more things to spend gold on such as upgrading each class. I do REALLY wish each class had its own unique skill they started with on top of their unique focus abilities. Would make experimenting with them way better. Also some of the skills need some balancing. Solaris is a must for every single run because of the enemy density, while things like torrent, shuriken, and slash are completely useless. I’d also like to see some more passives or defensive skills added. Overall it’s a fantastic game I’d recommend to everyone and can’t wait to see what the dev has in store for its future. ### 4/5 — Fun! But a little Buggy… *2022-06-24* i love this game just as much as vampire survivors! my only gripe is how the music will cut out and the joystick will stick to the upper right corner and the only way to fix it is to pause the game but even that only works sometimes. ### 5/5 — Potential to be better than vampire survivor *2022-06-23* I really enjoy this game. I would always look for a game like vampire survival to play on mobile but was never able to find one that was actually enjoyable and didn’t give me ads every 20 seconds. This game feels great. The controls and graphics really helps me enjoy the gameplay. It provides a nice challenge as well which I love. Even though it’s a great game, I feel like there are things that could be included that would make it better. After looking at this game’s Reddit, I believe that there could be more. Seeing that it’s also compatible with computers is great. ### 4/5 — Great Game - Needs Balancing *2022-06-23* First off great game! Art is great, overall gameplay is hard but fair. That being said after beating every map on gothic I have some gripes with the balancing: This game shoe horns you into specific builds and skills… I.e. it becomes clear that some skills you always take (Solaris and smite) and some you avoid (grasp and ice shards)… this definitely becomes apparent as you upgrade skills. I spent the better half of my gameplay experimenting with all the skills leveling them up to 10 just to see if they get some huge upgrade. Some do, some don’t. Some are just as useless at lvl 10 as they are at lvl 1 and others get super op: (I.e. smite goes from 1-4 bolts and has huge damage)… Overall I suggest reworking the skill upgrades to make each one more balanced and definitely make these more powerful: torrent, sparks, tornado, ice shards, shuriken, grasp, fireball, slash…. And LVL 10 ON A SKILL SHOULD ALWAYS GIVE A HUGE UPGRADE TO THE SKILL… again this seems to be the case with some skills but not all. Secondly defensive skills should be instituted: phase (become invincible for a second or two), shield (get a boost to defense, similar to empower.), Health (gain max health), shove (every few seconds your character pushes mobs back in movement direction) Third: add another difficulty level AND make the charms upgradeable… maybe add 3 ranks to each charm that can get them more powerful for the higher difficulty. ### 5/5 — The real deal *2022-06-22, version 1.2.4* We’ve all been clamouring for a fix of this kind of game on mobile, and I think this is the one (at least until the one we’re all thinking of gets it’s own mobile release ;) ) The focus mechanic is unique and fun, gameplay is smooth and balanced just the way it needs to be. And most importantly, the game includes only two in-app purchases, one to double coins and one to disable ads. Both are permanent one-time purchases. Even without them, ads are unobtrusive and only appear if you choose to watch one to resurrect. Well designed game, respectful of the player, and extremely reasonable in its monetization. Can’t recommend it highly enough ### 5/5 — Amazing game! *2022-05-31, version 1.2.4* This game has great replayability and numerous characters to try out with unique abilities. As well, ads are minimal…what more can you ask for? ### 5/5 — Well-Made and Satisfying to play *2022-05-27* I haven’t been playing this game for too long, but it’s great. People are complaining that it’s grindy, but once you unlock gothic mode you can easily get 200 coins per run. Many of the weapons feel balanced and there are tons of combinations that work well together. There are only two complaints I’ve had with the game: 1. On occasion, the joystick will lock in place until you close the game and reopen it. 2. The bosses I’ve fought are either incredibly difficult without a revive (chapter 1) or underwhelming (chapter 4). Since this game is still getting updated, I hope it gets found and that people can experience it. EDIT: was able to beat chapter 4 on gothic mode with Cristobal and amass 455 coins in the process **Developer response:** I recently updated the game trying to fix the joystick thing - if it still happens in 1.2.3 or later, please shoot me an e-mail so I can keep trying to fix it! ### 5/5 — Good but slow *2022-05-27* I feel like I’m doing something wrong. In the game this copied I think the gems just consolidate into red gems after a while but they seem to disappear in this are there weapon evolutions in this? Pretty addictive and meditative. That said, the “joystick sticking” issue mentioned by another reviewer is still an issue. I’ve also had the music quit on me a few times. Also unsure if there are supposed to be bosses on any of the levels? Also think the coin drop rate is a bit stingy. Would also like to get better descriptions of characters before dropping coin on them. I know it sounds like a lot, but I wouldn’t mention these if I wasn’t digging the game.
