## What is GoTogether?

GoTogether helps you find events, save plans, and coordinate with friends in one simple social calendar. Paste an event link, share a screenshot, or tell GoTogether what kind of week you want, and the app turns messy event details into clean calendar cards.

Discover local nights out, community meetups, talks, run clubs, gigs, food events and more. Shortlist the events you like, add them to your GoTogether calendar, and invite friends so plans do not get lost in chats.

### 1.0.10 — 2026-08-04

Tidied up the calendars and friends screens. Each row now has a single menu instead of a row of icons you had to guess at, so the options are written out in words. Removing a friend is no longer a delete button sitting next to every person.

You can ask the owner of a calendar you can only view for permission to add events, see which days a friend is free, and change your username.

Discover has a lot more in it, and it is chosen rather than scraped: real venues and promoters, with what is selling out ranked to the top.

You now have a username. Friends can add you with @yourname instead of needing the exact email address you signed up with.

Sharing a calendar with someone now makes you friends, and lets them add events to it by default. If a calendar is view only, you can ask the owner for permission without leaving the app, and you can leave a shared calendar yourself.

Fixed: event times were showing an hour early through British Summer Time. Pasting an event link now reads the page properly and picks up the real start and end time. Also fixed duplicate listings, wrong categories, and "This weekend" showing events that were weeks away.
