The cost has gone up significantly for the amount of use and the one computer I need access to but being a business owner I have many times had to work from home, the car, vacation……always felt safe logging into this site and getting work done. I have literally been across the globe and done payroll, helped employees or answered time sensitive questions. Also love that it will work with a printer anywhere you are. Terrific ### 4/5 — Great but latest version has orientation issue - SOLVED! *2023-02-16* I’ve used GoToMyPC for years. I pretty much depend on it anytime I’m away from the office. However, the iPhone client app won’t (easily) auto rotate into landscape mode, which is the only productive way to use the app on an iPhone or similar mobile device. But I figured out how to force it to rotate. Here’s how: - Open the app - Login to your PC - Then press the X to close the app, but when the confirmation dialogue pops up asking if you want to close click “No”. Now it will rotate into landscape mode ! Hopefully the devs will sort this out eventually, but until then, this work around should save some folks from screaming at their iPhones. (By the way I dealt with this issue for months before figuring out this work around. It was only after calling into support and getting no answers did I keep messing with the app until I found the answer myself!!!) ### 3/5 — No longer able to rotate screen on iPhone *2023-01-27* I’ve been loving this app for many years! Suddenly I am no longer able to rotate my screen into landscape view which practically haunts productivity. Please fix this ASAP!!!! It does work with 3rd party mouse and my keyboard case but the screen needs to be better optimized. I don’t need so much stuff on the screen at one time. I don’t need keyboard or keyboard short cuts on the screen at all times. Just give me some ways to hide operating stuff as I need it. Mouse support works but I don’t need this huge mouse icon on screen all the time. Overall it does work and it works well but it should be better. Please copy the mouse interaction from the “Windows” app (formerly RDClient). Please try using Windows or Mac OS X. This is inconsistent with the product claim to “Access your Mac or PC from Anywhere”. Is this false advertising? From an iPad, it is very difficult to navigate through the windows menu. I am very disappointed with the undisclosed limitations and awkward navigation capabilities of this product. ### 1/5 — The most frustrating app out there *2021-02-16, version 6.0.3030* Working from home on an iPad with this app is the worst user experience. The iPad isn’t going to be the best for performance, which I knew beforehand, but it’s absolutely infuriating to have to keep logging back in to the main login screen if you’re idle for more than 2 minutes. This is so impractical. ### 1/5 — Worst App for MacOs - Like a virus *2020-11-23* I installed GoToMyPc on my iMac hoping I could log in remotely. After about an hour I figured it out, pretty worthless. Worse however is that you can’t uninstall the app. IF you are thinking about installing this on your mac you should look elsewhere. THey have an uninstall option that doesn’t work. They have a uninstaller tool that fails miserably. Think perhaps you can uses SUDO to remove it? No luck. To do this I need to remember my email address (easy), my password (which is different from my work one) and an access code (effectively a second password). Why not just one password and why can’t this be sync to my office password. If extra security is required then use two factor authentication on my mobile. Of course, I can write the passwords on a piece of paper but that seems to defeat the object! I believe the iPhone interface is more intuitive and easier to navigate compared to the iPad. The iPad has a larger screen, of course, but the iPhone makes better use of its space.
