HOW TO JOIN A TRAINING SESSION There is no purchase necessary to attend a GoToTraining session. Two easy ways to join: •Tap a training session link in the invite email or your calendar. •Tap the GoToTraining icon after you download the app and enter the session ID. AUDIO •Upon joining a training session, you will automatically connect to audio through your Internet connection (WiFi or 4G/3G). •For the best audio experience, plug a headset into your iPhone, iPad or iPad Touch. •If you prefer to dial in over your phone line, you can do that with a single tap after joining the training session. •If you are attending the session in person, easily disconnect from audio any time during the session so you can continue to participate in polls and see the materials up close. NOTE: Due to network constraints, iPhone users on the Verizon network will be unable to join a session and dial in over the phone at the same time. I’m still struggling to find the hand raising icon. Could use some help!?! ### 5/5 — Very Easy To Use *2021-11-11, version 6.6.3* Recently used this for the first time training for an online customer service job. Didn’t have any problems at all. Simple and easy it is to use, easy to understand guides, and uses little resources. We expect things to work just outside of the box. We acknowledge an app when we have an easy session and the session went well as planned. We try to Evaluate each use of the app and after 3 weeks go by and we have had minimal to no issues, then we forget about it and it is now in our nature to run to it for other projects and plans. This app is a must keep in the virtual tool belt for sure. Amen ### 5/5 — Loved it *2020-08-25, version 6.5.2* I had a three hour training on this app. It wasn’t complicated to navigate. The organization had control over mute but we were able to use the feature in the app that allowed to raise our hands to get questions ask and use the chat box for the exercises given. I really loved it performance. ### 1/5 — Completely broken in every way I've tried to use it *2020-07-13, version 6.5.2* I can't get this to work at all, even for one of their "test" sessions. On the main screen of the app, I typed the session number, and it brings up an alert saying I need to download the app. The button on the alert sends me back to the App Store, which confirms I've already downloaded it, and sends me back to the app. I tried going to the support page and clicking the link there, and it just sends me to a blank white page in Safari. I tried a different device (running a newer version of iOS), and it shows a webpage that says "Tap to join the session", and when I tap it, it says "Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid". I tried entering the meeting number from within the app, on the newer device, and it shows a spinner, darkens the screen, then half a second later resets the spinner and darkens the screen even more, and this repeats forever. GoToTraining has some serious QA issues. I've tried to join their "test session" in 6 different ways (via the app, via the webpage, via the support link, each with 2 different devices), and they all fail -- and each in a unique way! Their support page is useless, too. If there's some secret trick to making this app work, I'm not smart enough to figure it out. All video conferencing software is bad, but this is somehow the worst of all. ### 5/5 — User Interface is fantastic! *2020-06-11, version 6.5.1* I have tried out a few different meeting and webinar platforms and Go To Training has BY FAR the most intuitive user interface!
