## What is Goun?

Good pitch. Steady rhythm. Focus on practice without ads or sign-up.

Goun brings a chromatic tuner and metronome together on one screen.

TUNER
• Note, octave, frequency and pitch deviation in cents
• Adjustable A4 reference from 430 to 450 Hz
• Quick presets for 432, 440 and 442 Hz

METRONOME
• 30–240 BPM, rotary dial, fine adjustment and tap tempo
• 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 6/8 and 12/8 time signatures
• Supported subdivisions for each meter, up to four clicks per beat
• Unaccented 1/4; first-beat accent in other meters
• Wood and click sounds, volume control and visual beats
• Keep playing while using another app or with the screen off
• In 6/8 and 12/8, BPM counts dotted-quarter-note beats

Choose dark, light or system theme, and optionally keep the screen awake. Your last reference pitch, tempo and other settings are saved on your device. Core tuning and metronome features work offline.

The tuner requires microphone permission; the metronome does not. Microphone audio is analyzed on your device, not saved as recordings or sent to the developer's servers. Tuner input pauses while the metronome plays audible clicks.

All features are free. An optional tip in Settings supports the developer without unlocking features. Tipping requires a connection to the store.
