When version 9.6 was released the app stopped working on my iPhone 8. When I contacted support I got instant confirmation of receipt. The following day I received an email requesting more details. My reply was again replied to with an expiation of the problem and an expected date for solution. As planned, the 9.7 version was released - problem solved. If others criticise this support response and fix then they fail to understand the complexity of ensuring an app works with everything that is also changing around us.

Today I am editing my review from 1 star back to 4 stars, as it appears the devs have fixed the bug preventing opening the app.
All appears to be well now.

### 1/5 — Discounts are poor, some listed places refuse to accept it…

Overall a terrible offering from my bank that includes this with my account. The reach of places listed is limited to begin with. Two I have visited locally refused to honour the app full stop despite being listed. The pizza deals need further scrutiny as well, as promotions and combo deals at the time were offered to any customer with a better level of discount than this affords. Really can’t recommend it.

The app is terrible. It forgets where you are searching, so each time you need to tell it. It gives you restaurants miles away from where you want. The developers clearly blender actually use the app, otherwise they would realise how hard they have made it to use. Why not have a filter that lets you specify the max distance from your selected location. If I’m in Bath I really don’t want a restaurant in Swindon FFS

Really not sure how I am supposed to use this app. It appears that cinema tickets are more expensive when using the app than booking direct. Each different offer has a different method of redeeming the money, all rather confusing and takes too long.

The location has never worked. No option on iPhone settings for location. I am always in London!! In app if the location slider is moved it takes you to the place in settings with no option for location.
Addendum: Don’t bother trying to email them! Same copy & paste response 9 times so far!!

there is an option to allow your location services when you first register on our app. You can go to your phone settings and update this to allow location access whilst using our app. This will ensure that your location is automatically set to wherever you may be, bringing up participating venues in your area.

Honestly surprised that an established bank has chosen this app and this low quality service (more like non existent actually). Most of restaurants are either closed, when you find one open they have no idea what this gourmet society offer is and they block from being able to call and ask more questions. There hasn’t been any way to use so far in more than 5 restaurants and seems like the restaurants are even unaware they’re on this?? Very very disappointing

### 1/5 — How to ruin the business of hospitality

It is cringing to realise that an established bank would link to an app which makes it almost impossible to use its options. I had problems with coffee places which now understand why would take their distance from this app even if listed. The customer service is non existent and would deny any problem. To ‘dine out’ as they call it , customers have to call 24 hours in advance. And places are available only on some days. Ever heard of such nonsense from an app which is meant to be used to find places where to eat? I don’t know how places in the list don’t refuse to be included. It ruins their business. The pizza delivery service offers a discount only spending an amount which is clearly for more than one person and using a totally different app. Who wants to have that fuss? 
I have been unable to use it aside from the occasional coffee. 
It must be engineered by people who want to prevent other people from eating out. 
It is a real eye sore for a bank which uses it as a ‘benefit’ for their products.

This is absolutely hopeless. Impossible to access the app. I have tried numerous times via different routes without success. Get to login screen and impossible to log in. Absolute waste of time. So disappointed last year it was so simple to use. I have now van given up. Not much of a reward more a dead loss. I really disappointed Club Lloyds customer

Pretty terrible app. The map doesn't allow you to scroll around looking for places, you have to search for specific places, which defeats the purpose of having a map. Also, if there are two places exactly on top of each other (two places in one location) then it's impossible to click on them in the map - all it shows is a pin with '2' on it.
