And if this happens to be multiple, nearly identical recipes (basa fish every day for a week!) this is what you get. They should at minimum have a policy of only sending one of each type of main for an uncustomised box, e.g. no more than one meal with fish. We’ve had fish every day for a week, and they have just done the same thing again. Fish every day for the next week too! We like fish. Just not that much. It wasn’t like this at first. Gousto would send great, varied recipes every week without us needing to choose. Ah well. All good things come to an end. I hadn’t even placed an order. When a favourite is saved, there is no way to move this to an order. If you search for the favourited recipe in the search bar, it can’t find it and you end up scrolling lots of recipes to try and find it. Eventually got through to someone and they tried to say I didn’t select my meals so they sent me 2 random ones, refused to log a complaint initially until I started really getting a strop. Clear instructions, quality products and we were full and satisfied. Since getting Gousto I’ve been cooking twice, sometimes three times a week and it’s really been a game changer. The recipes are really delicious and the choosing process is a nice, easy thing to do every week together. For me, having everything portioned out and being able to flick through recipe step by step on iPad really helps me manage what used to be a stressful energy zapping ordeal whenever I tried to cook! All options so far have been excellent quality! For me: work can be stressful, unpredictable and erratic. Goustos regularly delivered meals are the perfect counterpoint to this. I feel I eat better food, more calorie controlled and avoid the temptations of takeout since I started with Gousto. I've tried other services over the years but I always return to Gousto. Do yourself a favour and try this if you haven't already.
