### 1/5 — Gout Diet Food

*2013-02-28, version 1.0*

Don't buy - any gout self-help app that list any kind of beer as low in purines is not accurate. I would give it no stars if this review would let me. Don't waste your money.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work

*2020-05-18, version 2.0*

Within the first couple search’s there was nothing that came up. Cesar salad- nothing. Almond milk- nothing. Then I went random, jelly beans- nothing. This isn’t gonna help me.

### 1/5 — Gout diet food

*2018-09-29, version 2.0*

Was disappointed
Hoping it would provide diet for cooking low diet meals for gout
Instead it only rated the food levels

### 1/5 — Poooooor

*2017-11-27, version 2.0*

Not enough food listed

### 1/5 — Pretty much worthless

*2017-09-22, version 2.0*

It's only $2 and still not worth it! This is a total fail! Info (what very little there is) not even accurate. F-

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2017-09-13, version 2.0*

This app is so worthless it's not even a half one penny. You would think they would include way more food selection to check on but it is in fact very limited.

### 1/5 — Not enough foods

*2017-06-04, version 2.0*

Poor interface, not enough foods listed, very disappointed. Don't wasted your $2 you can find better information with a quick google search!

### 1/5 — I want my money back anyone can write a list with pictures - not worth it

*2016-08-22, version 1.0*

I want my money back - I thought apple actually vetted their vendors, they should apologize for allowing this to be part of there apps

How do I get my money back!

### 1/5 — This app should be considered theft

*2015-04-29, version 1.0*

Terribly misleading info, tons of foods not listed and the search function is useless. DO NOT waste your money on this app.

### 1/5 — Inaccurate app

*2014-08-21, version 1.0*

Don't waste your money

### 1/5 — jd

*2013-05-31, version 1.0*

I read the previous review and decided it couldn't be all that bad. Unfortunately, it is -- very few foods to search AND shellfish is MODERATE?!?

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 4/5 — Reliable but could be better

*2019-05-19, version 2.0*

The app is great for identifying the purine levels uric acid levels in foods. Wish items were categorized instead of the long list on the search menu.

### 4/5 — Good foundation

*2018-06-08, version 2.0*

Could use more foods but overall very helpful.

### 3/5 — References

*2018-07-07, version 2.0*

The information is succinct and very informative. I used this a lot. I just want to recommend putting your research references or resources of information to make this app more credible.

### 2/5 — Not worth the money

*2017-01-28, version 2.0*

Pros:
-quick access to purine and uric acid content of common food

Cons:
-feels like a free app but we paid for it

All in all, I would rather do a web search to see if what I'm about to eat is gout friendly or not because the items on this app haven't been useful to me for some reason.
