Not worth it ### 1/5 — Warning *2023-11-10* If you are planning on using this, check to make sure it works with exactly the device you want to use. ### 1/5 — No Govee Curtains?!? *2023-09-30* Seriously, Govee Curtains won’t even appear in the app? The Curtains have been on the market for months now, and it’s the lighting product that needs app support the MOST, since the DIY functionality is a joke right now! This lack of software support is such a massive reason to pass on Govee and opt for any of the hundreds of cheaper alternatives. ### 1/5 — Where is the curtains support???? *2023-09-06* Seriously where is curtain support?? ### 4/5 — Light show mode??? *2023-02-26* What if.. you could make light shows You could upload music to your show, and make it dance to the music how ever you want!!! Not supported in latest iOS *2022-12-07, version 1.1.2* Wouldn’t connect to my lights that I already registered with Govee home. Several other rgb bulbs with more intuitive/functional and less intrusive software. There is a bit of a learning curve but just work with it a while and you can figure it out. If you get stuck, you can always go to the Forum in the Govee Home App and the community is always glad to help out! Also done is the Level 1 or higher restriction, so anyone with a compatible Govee LED product can install and use the Studio App. ### 1/5 — Pretty much just junk *2021-05-30, version 1.1.0* Govee Studio could be a nice app if it worked and if it was more intuitive. It has a clunky, kluge interface, no way I can find to preview your effects, and after all the work to set up an effect and you push it to Govee Home, it sends only the name. The events don’t play/work at all. The Govee Home events created therein work fairly well, but are too limited. I consider this app a total fail, and the fact they make you sign up to get points to use it, and the fact that it fails to connect with my H6143 RGBIC LED set makes it even more of a total failure. ### 1/5 — Only given to users who create content for govee *2021-02-14, version 1.0.1* You need to have 1000 points to use this program, which means creating and uploading dozens of videos and helping other users on support boards.
