Or an easy way to comment on articles. ### 3/5 — Used to be good…not anymore *2023-09-15* This used to be a great app for getting government news, especially when it comes to pay news for government employees, but recently it stopped working. Every article you click on says “try again” and never opens. I’ve reached out to support twice and no response or fixes. Now it’s even got to the point that as soon as the app opens it just tells me to try again lol. Deleted until they can get it fixed and at this rate that will be never. ### 2/5 — Close date wrong *2023-09-04* It seems the “close date” at the bottom of the TSP daily returns is off by a day. I realize it lags by a day, but today is Mon 10/26 and the close date for the displayed returns says 10/22 which was last a Thursday. The market was open Friday 10/23 so why is that not the date and data provided? ### 2/5 — Government Executive Problem *2022-05-13, version 2.0* I am unable to open the main news page & repeatedly get “Request Error”. I enjoy reading the articles, but cannot due so anymore. It filters out the noise that the media puts out each day, and presents information that is relevant and important to Feds. Two words... It’s just plain factual, and a decent place to read what is going on in DC. I’m a GS-13, with 30 years, and I wouldn’t begin to say GovExec learned the tinniest bit towards the left. It is always very relevant and this app makes it easy to stay tune in. I have learned to read these articles critically since they are clearly biased and favorable toward the Democratic Party. Word choices and rhetoric, and lack of balance and objectivity, reveal this bias. The left leaning nature of these articles attract people with very strong, left leaning opinions who leave unprofessional and unhelpful comments about the articles. I am torn because I want to receive the news, but the the articles are painfully unprofessional in their bias. ### 1/5 — Retired Gov Employee *2020-11-09, version 2.0* The people that managed this app have a very biased and liberal point of view that is contrary to most employees I have worked with. Probably time for a update. Seems to always crash when trying to open the TSP part of the app. ### 1/5 — Update issues *2020-07-17, version 2.0* They updated the tsp to show the 2020 gone but couldn’t update it to show the new funds added. Why? Most people have this app for the tsp ticker and now after 17 days you can’t seem to get the new funds added. ### 3/5 — Negative and Liberal slant *2020-06-03, version 2.0* Good information in the articles, too bad they are usually negative and written with liberal political bias. Reminds me of CNN at times. Maybe someone will figure out that people want reliable information and will spend more time reading your articles and tell more friends about your app if can skip the political agenda and pessimism. Maybe some bigger news whale gobbled them up for a significant price? This is unfortunate since it used to be great, I’ve used it for years. However, the app is no longer working. The web links to articles error out and the TSP section crashes the app. I have removed and uninstalled several times. I have submitted support requests with no response. Very disappointed. - Joe ### 1/5 — App needs work *2023-09-21* What a crapshoot app. The share article function hasn’t worked consistently for over a year, and now, you can’t even open articles in the app at all. It’s bad enough that the reporting leans more and more left. (Just do neutral news coverage!) At least fix the app so it functions at a basic level. ### 1/5 — App was 5* then it broke *2023-09-19* I’ve used this app for many years and continue to do so in retirement because I have valued the information and curation provided by the GovExec team. Recently, the app no longer works on my iOS devices, articles will no longer open. Owners should delete the app if they are not going to update it. Terrible mess. What type of person allows an app to sit like this? However for the last 2 weeks, I have not been able to read the articles because I keep getting an error message to “retry again” and nothing happens after multiple “retry again” failures.
