## What is Gov.gr Wallet?

Το Gov.gr Wallet είναι η επίσημη ελληνική εφαρμογή wallet, η οποία διατίθεται μέσω του επίσημου λογαριασμού της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας, δίνει τη δυνατότητα δημιουργίας, αποθήκευσης και ελέγχου των νέων ψηφιακών δελτίων ταυτότητας και ψηφιακών αδειών οδήγησης.

Τα νέα ψηφιακά δελτία ταυτότητας και της άδειας οδήγησης είναι ψηφιακά έγγραφα που εκδίδονται μέσω του gov.gr και είναι πλήρως ισάξια με τα έγχαρτα έγγραφα, για κάθε νόμιμη χρήση εντός της Ελληνικής επικράτειας. Δεν αποτελούν διεθνή ταξιδιωτικά έγγραφα.

Για την δημιουργία ψηφιακού δελτίου ταυτότητας και άδειας οδήγησης είναι απαραίτητοι οι προσωπικοί σας κωδικοί TaxisNet και η κατοχή επιβεβαιωμένου αριθμού κινητού τηλεφώνου στο ΕMEπ.

Very frustrating, but because most of the time the app doesn’t work!

After last update can’t login anymore. The app needs significant improvements as most of the time produces errors instead of loading the content it supposed to. Every update makes it worse rather than better. Put the money on the development of the app and not in your pockets.

This app doesn’t work for what it is intended to serve. When trying to add a ticket as a foreigner you have no chance to verify your passport as the app never captures the image of it. The window is too small to fit a passport size. As a result you can’t go watch a game in Greece.

Many Greeks nowadays live abroad and using their foreign SIM/Mobile number when visiting Greece, but still have a Greek ID and Greek Driving license that wasn't to use with the App. Even though first level of authentication with Taxisnet or Greek Bank account works fine, the 2nd level of authentication where App tries to send an OTP via SMS to the mobile number that it auto identifies from the phone fails when using a foreign mobile number e.g. one from starting +44. This means the App cannot be used. Unclear why. Also unclear why they don't even mention in the App we don't send to foreign numbers, you just get a screen OTP send to your foreign mobile number and nothing cones however many times you try it. So poor design of the App
