## What is gov.pt?

App do Estado para documentos digitais, serviços públicos e autenticação.

App da administração pública portuguesa que permite guardar documentos de identificação, gerir a Chave Móvel Digital, assinar documentos e realizar serviços públicos (substitui as antigas apps id.gov.pt e autenticacao.gov).

Documentos digitais

A app funciona como carteira digital. Pode adicionar os seus documentos de identificação oficiais (Cartão de Cidadão, carta de condução, entre outros), que têm o mesmo valor legal do que os documentos físicos.

Autenticação

Pode gerir a sua Chave Móvel Digital, assinar documentos PDF e ativar os certificados do seu Cartão de Cidadão.

Renovação do Cartão de Cidadão

Pode pedir a renovação do seu Cartão de Cidadão através da app.  

Faturas sem papel

Pode aderir às faturas sem papel e passar a receber faturas por email, passadas com o seu contribuinte, em estabelecimentos aderentes.

Tinha finalmente a porcaria do cartão de cidadão e os outros cartão, agora com a novo update já não sei onde é que enfiaram isso. Miséria de app, vergonha, cambada de incompetência.

I followed instructions to go to the balcão/citizen shop in person to activate. This was very easy. Now I can log in to apps and sign some documents with the mobile key. 

However, I think it is ridiculous that to sign a document I have to enter my ID and private PIN number password on someone else’s computer!!! This was at a bank. 
Then I receive a text message to give them a code as a 2nd factor. 
How is this secure? My private pin should only be entered on my devices. 

Additionally I get very confused sometimes  because in some instances I get a text message, other times I need to use the authenticator code built into the app.

Can’t use the app because one simply can’t enroll. It seems that the system is unable to text numbers in the USA. Dead app.

I am trying to sign up, the camera reader for my ID card does not work properly, I have tried countless times and it gives an error every time , even though the image is clear . So frustrating!

Aplicativo horrível, cheio de erros. Durante a semana consegui chegar até ao oitavo passo, mas quando tentava inserir o código que recebia por mensagem dava sempre erro. 😩

Hoje nem consigo sequer colocar o número do telemóvel. 😠

Estou já a meses a tentar activar a chave móvel pela app e nunca funciona! Tem vezes que passo o numero e consigo meter o meu cartão, mas depois disso não funciona! Tento de novo e não passa do número! Uma porcaria. Deveriam ter deixado a outra app porque funcionava muito bem! Não tinha problemas com a autenticação, agora estou a tentar pedir o registro criminal para o trabalho aqui em UK, mas não posso porque a app não funciona, e não consigo entrar on-line pq também preciso ter a chave móvel activada! Que desastre!!!
