The community this app has allowed me to reach is very helpful and willing to teach and give out knowledge. The layout of this app is just plain awesome. You can sort through posts to find exactly what you want to see. It’s a great place to connect with other hunters and outdoorsmen/women. It even has the awesome new feature of seeing what people are posting near you! And guess what? This app rewards you for using it. You can get points by posting a picture of harvested animal/fish as a trophy, or for simply posting an outdoor activity. The ability to choose what “trail” or category of outdoor activities that you want to see is really awesome and makes the app personalized. ### 5/5 — Oh my goat! It does what?!!! *2019-09-16, version 4.5* This app is amazing. Not only does it connect you with other that share your love of everything outdoors but it also tracks your fish you catch. Wanna know what’s going on near you? Boom!! You can see. Need a recipe for some great deer meat? Bam! They have it. Great part is all tips and tricks are shared by people like you and me. Love looking at everyone’s catches or routes they have taken on a ride. Keep up the great work guys. When I found the Go Wild App I downloaded it and absolutely love it. Great pictures, great stories, great info, great community without all the foul language and whining that I always ran into in Bookface. If you live the outdoors like I do, why on earth would you want to hear a bunch of whinnying and nonsense, when you are supposed be to enjoying the outdoors? I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now and I’m so happy I downloaded it. Go Wild provides a community for people who hunt, fish, hike, and everything in between. In a world where hunting is constantly attacked and is viewed negatively, this app is a safe space from all that. If you enjoy hearing stories and being in the company of fellow outdoorsmen, then get Go Wild. It helps keep track of all your fish and other game, saves your trophy catches at the top of your profile and allows you to explore literally hundreds of other outdoor and wildlife paths and fellow enthusiasts. It has even MORE as well, too much to list! So far, so good and the creators and administrators are extremely involved with this community always offering a helping hand should you need it. I recently had an issue where my activity didn’t upload correctly due to a poor connection up in the mountains on my hike. The guys at GoWild were more than helpful. The stayed in contact and resolved the issue, getting me back on the app. I’m happy to give them 5 stars for an app that services out outdoor lifestyles without all the bs and politics of other social apps. While the UI is simple and easy to pick up on, and the content is fantastic, what impressed me most is the community and what is has evolved into. Sometimes posting photos of hunting trips or cleaning animals on Instagram will delete it for “being inappropriate” but on this app people don’t report your stuff because they respect it. Was accused of committing fraud for rewards. *2022-03-04, version 10.30* Highly unimpressed with the way they messaged my wife and told her she was committing reward fraud. My wife and I have the same name but both our accounts were to different number and emails. They deleted my account with out letting us respond or asking what the situation was. Told them I’d provide what ever they need, some one in your company should check facts before accusing some one of fraud. Will not be using this app any longer and will recommend to friends and family to stay away from this app and the toxic management. ### 3/5 — Functionality *2018-06-18, version 2.1.1* Messages disappear after like a half hour and it’s really kinda irritating. Also, If you type out a caption on a picture, the app will not let you go back to the beginning of your caption and add something else. It just keeps pushing your curser back to the end of the caption every time. I would also like to be able to view peoples profiles from the messaging/notification board but it does not allow you to do that anywhere. The app caters to the sportsman in all of us, it has a unique point system that gives you points for logging an activity and sharing it with the world. So far In this early stage of the app it seems like it’s already a great way to connect with other outdoorsy and sporty people. No one sees your posts, and you only see a few of the same people posting whenever you view it. People give rude feedback and comments to posts or questions, and it makes you feel like deleting the app altogether. This is not the case with GoWild, though. It’s a real community. It’s not a popularity contest. It’s not a bunch of critics judging every word or photo you post. It’s a group of people sharing what they love and encouraging others to learn and do the same. I was confused at first because I couldn’t see any post but I did feedback and it opened right up where I could see. I’m a big hunter myself so it’s just the app for me and other hunters!
