You set how sure it has to be. A new Minimum rain/snow chance control (Settings, under Advanced) lets you decide how likely rain or snow must be before Goworthy flags it, so a low-confidence blip doesn't cloud a clear day. Dial it up for near-certain rain or snow only, or down to catch every maybe. Rain, to the quarter-hour. The rain and snow outlook now runs on 15-minute data, so "dry right now" is right, and "rain around 13:15" means 13:15, not "around 13." Honest at a glance. The graph fades when the outlook is uncertain, and tells you whether rain or snow is likely or just expected, with the percentage right beside it. One tap to the animated radar straight from the rain card. Notifications are now fully opt-in, and you can set any place's alerts right from its own settings, plus fixes throughout. ### 2.0 — 2026-08-31 Goworthy 2.0 is here, headlined by a live, animated rain radar. Live rain radar on the map. Watch rain and snow move across it, so you can see whether a band is heading your way or clearing out. It is now beautifully smooth, with no ghosting between frames. Snow, on the clock. When snow is on the way, the outlook shows an icy snowfall graph in cm and a snow-cloud, right alongside the rain view. New per-place snow alerts. Get a heads-up about 30 minutes before snow reaches a place you follow, at the threshold you choose (any snow, moderate or heavy), separate from your rain alert. Times follow your phone's 12-hour or 24-hour setting automatically, the Find-nearby map searches are smarter, and duplicate alerts for the same spot are gone.
