Fix the photo issue and it becomes useful again. ### 2/5 — Used to good *2018-06-04, version 8.0.4* Had this app a while. Early on it was pretty good, but as updates happened, it got buggy, to a point I’ve had to go to another app. No apparent support ### 3/5 — Lozza *2016-09-10* I bought the program for my iPad assuming I could hotspot from my phone for GPS. I did it on my iPad because it is a bigger screen. iPad does not allow hotspot so I will need to now purchase the app again for my phone. The program even on my iPad crashes a lot even when I have tried to navigate around to learn to use it. So…. basically lost the couple of bucks. ### 1/5 — Good . Bad . This bug has existed for over two years now. Such a shame Garafa no longer seems to support the app. It was the perfect navigator app I thought. It is an acceptable app just for tracking and save the points but nothing else. ### 2/5 — Was an excellent app, but buggy and no updates *2015-10-09, version 7.0.1* I bought this app three years ago and have used it a lot in the field. There are a lot of excellent qualities about it, and clearly some good original work done on it, but I have in three years never seen it updated. Lots could be done to iron out some bugs (e.g., lime green text on a light background in places), make it a tad more user friendly, and take advantage of multiple IOS changes since it was first designed. A real pity, as it was expensive when first bought it, and no effort being put in to keep it up to date on even a yearly basis. ### 1/5 — Won't download maps for offline use *2015-08-24, version 7.0.1* Sometimes, it won't download the map for offline use, sometimes it will but won't open it. Sometime after iOS8, a few key features stopped working (offline caching etc). This lost functionality lowered its usefulness to the point where we now use alternative apps. The developer is aware of the issues. It has been a problem for many months now. Do not waste your money on this rip off!! ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD! *2014-10-06, version 7.0.1* There is a critical bug that doesn’t allow offline mapping to be enabled. I emailed support with a video showing the issue and got no response. Ended up getting a refund as it is essentially useless with no developer support. That is not to mention the fact the developer then charges you again for the iPhone version of the same thing!!! No one else does this, total SCAM! ### 1/5 — Mr *2014-08-02, version 7.0.1* This app dose not work when I try to cache a region offline. I want my money. ### 1/5 — Crashes. Lousy Support. Don’t Waste Your Money *2014-05-24* I got this app to manage waypoints and track from my Garvin GPS. The app does import GPX files, but it will not let you create tracks. For that you need track editor. Then buying Track Editor I found it simply crashes on opening the GPX files from and email attachment and exported directly from the GPS Kit. You can do cool stuff with your waypoints, if this think pix and Facebook and all that stuff is cool, but when it comes to basic mapping functions - as loaded with bells and whistles as this app “appears”, it will let you down. Writing support I provided the device, OS, and version of this software with a list of the bugs I found in GPS Kit and Track Editor. After a few days they responded asking me for the device, OS, and version of their software I was using. (DUH!). Then they gave me a blurp on their features, never addressing the question that these features do not work or are crashing on the iPad. Don’t waste you money on a pretty, but dysfunctional app, and also requirers you to buy additional apps that crash unless you want useless Support to help you out. ### 1/5 — Unbelievable *2014-05-11* Used the iPhone version for years and have loved it. I was excited to use this version for iPad now. It 100% doesn't do what it should. You can't download maps for offline use! Simply doesn't work. Absolutely unbelievable. I can't believe I spent another 15 bucks on this. Used it in the Sierra Nevadas, Zion and abroad in Poland, Ecuador and Croatia. Love it! ### 5/5 — Perfect for hiking,,,, *2014-05-28, version 7.0.1* Tip: caching maps doesn't work in landscape mode. Make sure to flip your iPad to portrait mode for it to work. I live on an 18,000 acre ranch and hike 2 hours a day looking for caves, dinosaur tracks, and bones. The main problem I had was keeping track of all the places I've hiked, as well as the locations of discoveries made. 18k acres is a 24+ mile perimeter! GPS kit has solved this problem!!! The best part is that the gps works without cell coverage and that I'm able to view maps, real time tracks, and previous track history without any type of internet or phone reception. This is all shown using google satellite along with the property boundary. This app is 100x better than any garmin product such as the Felix and Monterra. Garmin is great for recording tracks, but unfortunately their maps, resolution, and screen size make it close to impossible to view outside of a computer loaded with their base camp software. I need to know where I'm at and where I've been in the field not on my computer! The only complaint that I have is that there is no option for different waypoint/ icon images, garmin even has this. The maps tend to get confusing with dozens of waypoints all looking the same. You don't know if it's a house, cave, waterfall, etc. It would also be nice if there was a way to resize waypoints as they can quickly engulf the map. I've also tried mapmyhike which doesn't offer or do anything I need for my exploring needs. A lot of cool features. a lot more user friendly than my expensive handheld GPS. although i am carrying my ipad with me and its a little bulky, having the big screen is good for viewing sat view of area. But would love to see different waypoint symbols. ### 5/5 — Awesome APP! *2012-07-08, version 6.3* I do a lot of 4WDing and Fishing in remote areas and was hunting for a decent GPS app for my iPad, I thought why can't I use my iPad rather than purchase a handheld gps with maps? I looked through the App Store and found a couple of 4WD GPS apps at around $150. I wasn't convinced after reading their revues, seems their price is relevant to the ability to download chartered maps to the iPad when out of cellular range. Well with this app you can download your nominated map to cache and they are google maps straight off the satellite! Plus if your buddies also have the app you can see where they all are in real time! Awesome! Buy it you'll love it! ### 5/5 — What more? *2012-06-27* Could you ask for in a handheld gps unit?
