Easy to use, and does the job.
I would appreciate a feature allowing to modify manaully the measured distance : when you follow a roadbook, you can sometimes take the wrong way. Driving back to the intersection where you made the mistake, it would be helpful to enter the distance noted on the roadbook.

As others have stated, this app provides the basic information - distance, speed and time - which was what I was looking for on my weekly recreational bike rides. The other apps I looked at had way too many additional features that I did not want. The display is clean and easy to read as I ride. Unobtrusive ad banner at the bottom. When I stopped the app at the end of my ride, a larger ad did appear, which was easily bypassed.

I wanted a GPS-based app to measure the distance of my daily walk. A basic one with simple controls and a clear display with no cluttering, unwanted “features”.

Of the several GPS walking distance apps that I’ve tried, this one best fits my requirements.

Very accurate too. I determined accuracy by walking the same route many times, and seeing very similar distance reports.

I now have the “Pro” version of this app, which eliminates ads, and provides a few useful features.

I wish I could change it to feet .. instead of miles.

**Developer response:** Hi there, This has been possible for 9 years.  Directly on the app's home screen the user can cycle through layout settings for distance : 1) long (miles in your case) 2) short (feet in your case) 3) both (miles and feet in your case)    There is a more thorough explanation in the app's setting page under 'layout settings'.

Всё что мне нужно было это отмерять 100 метров для настройки спидометра. Но как выяснилось, машина стоит, а пробег идёт...! Телефон стоял прямо под лобовым стеклом без подогрева, т.е. непосредственно под спутниками!

First time I tried this application—I want a simple odometer to track distance and speed period.  Speed showed at 12 mph slowly decreasing to what I believe my rate was around 3.6 mph and it took 20 min.   Distance seem to lag as well on the low side.  I walk 1.2 or so miles and it registered only .6 miles.  Am deleting this app from my phone.

**Developer response:** For best results, open the app 2-3 minutes before use to get the best starting GPS fix.  If the accuracy is bright red and remains very large (over 20 meters), you may want to look into that.

Отвратительное приложение-проехал 200 км и понял что считает километраж не всегда-ставится само по себе на паузу. Начинаю обновлять-платите бабки. Без обновы ставят на паузу. Нуль звезд!!!

Why is this app sending 2 emails per minute to the developer - addressed from me? I can’t find anywhere why it’s doing this or how to turn it off. It’s tracking my location even when not in use? I’m not into being stalked. Creepy and not acceptable. Goodbye!

一度だけなら気にしなかったがたまに起こりイライラさせる。

I wanted a simple free app to record how far and how long I biked everyday. It gives me that and more although I don’t use other features. I find it accurate, easy to read, simple to use and free! No subscriptions or bumps. For me it’s 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.

I needed an accurate odometer to follow routes in VMCC events on my motorcycle. Others I looked at stopped after a while to display an advert thus making them impossible to use. The distance recorded is accurate and the display large enough to be seen. This app does exactly what I needed.
