I can track my drives, use it with CarPlay, connect OBD-II, keep track of fuel and maintenance, and even record drives with the data overlay. I really like having everything car-related in one place instead of using a bunch of different apps. The CarPlay features are also pretty cool. The developer seems to be adding new stuff regularly too, so it feels like the app is getting better all the time. They’re generally major additions to what the app can already do. Route History • Trips that start and end in the same places, in the same direction, now count as one route. Trip detail gains a This Route card: how this drive compares with the last one, and where it ranks ("3rd fastest of 12"). • Open it for the whole history: a trend line, your usual range, and every trip on the route, sorted by date, duration, distance, average or max speed. • Filter to a time of day, or to weekdays alone, to compare like with like. • If you left now tells you when you would usually arrive. • Settings > Driving > Route Matching sets how close two drives must begin and end to count as one, Strict, Usual or Relaxed, with rules for individual routes. Favorites • Star a trip from its "..." menu, and the star marks it in the history and on the trip itself. • Favorites Only in the trip filter narrows the history to the ones you starred. Statistics has its own tab • Statistics used to appear only when Friends was switched off. It is a permanent tab now, and Friends moved behind your profile picture in the toolbar. A tab order you set yourself is kept. Scan the pump • While adding a fuel log, tap Scan Pump, or Scan Charger on an electric car, to read the amounts off the display with the camera. Check them, then use them. Also in this release • The Speed Over Time chart and the sprint trace are coloured by speed with the same blue-to-red ramp as the route map, so a fast stretch looks the same in both. • Route Playback > Direction Indicator: the moving marker can be an arrow that turns with your heading, or a plain dot. • Two motorcycle app icons in Settings > Display & Recording > App Icon. • With two cars and two OBD2 adapters, the app reaches whichever adapter is in the car you are sitting in, and files the trip under the car it identifies. • Fault code reads no longer show codes your car does not have when the engine and the gearbox both answer. • OBDLink CX and MX WiFi are no longer listed as unsupported. Only the MX+ is locked to its own app. • Fixed: opening Speed Over Time could freeze the app. • Fixed: a video could end with nothing saved when the speed limit beep took the microphone. Turn it on in Settings > Data & Sync > Data Management > Export Data. • Choose any mix of GPX (route with time, speed and elevation, for map and fitness apps), CSV (one row per recorded point, for spreadsheets) and PDF (a one-page report with a route map). • Files land in the Speedometer folder in the Files app, or in a folder you pick. Pick one in iCloud Drive and every trip reaches your other devices as well. • It works however the trip ends: the stop button, CarPlay, a Shortcuts automation or an automatic ending. A trip cut off by the app closing is saved the next time Speedometer opens. • Free for everyone. Picture in Picture • Open When You Leave brings up the speed window by itself when you switch to another app from the Speedometer tab, so there is nothing to remember before a drive. You can limit it to when a trip is recording. • With the speed limit alert on, the window shows the limit in a red ring. • The window no longer freezes on its last speed when a trip ends while you are in another app. Video Recording • When a recording stops early, the app now tells you why: another app took the camera, the phone got too warm, or another app is sharing the screen. CarPlay • Ending a trip with the iPhone locked no longer freezes the speed on the car display. Also in this release • China map alignment now uses a detailed border outline, so routes close to the border line up with the roads. • New help entries on Picture in Picture and video recording. Open it from the ••• menu on the Speedometer tab, then switch to Maps or anything else. • While a trip is recording it also shows distance and elapsed time. Drag it to any corner, or push it off the edge to tuck it away. • It never pauses or ducks your music, podcasts or navigation voice. Trip Insights • A short summary of each drive, written on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere. • Drives on a route you have taken before get a "vs usual" chip: how this run compared with your own previous drives between the same two places, at the same time of day. • Settings > Trip Insights picks the voice it writes in, or describe your own. • Requires iOS 26 and Apple Intelligence. Estimated Fuel Cost • Trip details now show EST. COST, worked out from the fuel the drive used and the price you paid at your last fill-up before it. • Tap it to see which fill-up set the price. Pump prices move, so read it as a ballpark, not a receipt. Tab Bar • Settings > Display & Recording > Tab Bar drags the tabs along the bottom of the screen into the order you want. • Pick which tab the app opens on. Friends • Week and month charts drill down. Tap a bar to see its days. CarPlay • Custom PIDs now open on their own screen, so every one of them is listed. Aproxime um trecho movimentado ou enquadre a viagem inteira. • A velocidade ganha "Melhor sustentada", a melhor média de meio minuto da viagem, que descreve a direção bem melhor do que um pico isolado do GPS. • A altitude lista o ponto mais alto, o mais baixo e o tempo de subida. A força G lista os momentos mais fortes. OBD II • As leituras ao vivo agora são mostradores com a faixa saudável marcada. Toque em qualquer cartão para ler o que aquele valor significa e o que vale a pena verificar. • Nível de combustível (est.) para carros que nunca informam o nível do tanque. Informe a capacidade na Garagem, registre um tanque cheio e o nível é calculado a partir dos seus próprios abastecimentos. Ele sempre aparece marcado como estimativa. • Pressão máxima do turbo, melhor consumo e tempo de motor ligado na página da viagem, cada um com sua explicação. • Problemas com um adaptador? Combustível e dinheiro • Escolha com quantas casas decimais os totais em dinheiro aparecem. O preço por unidade mantém sempre três, já que as bombas cobram em milésimos. • A importação de CSV reconhece a exportação de custos do Spritmonitor, mantém o mapeamento detectado em vez de fazer você refazê-lo e não importa mais recargas elétricas como gasolina. Velocímetro • Pause o início automático por 30 minutos, 1 ou 2 horas, ou um tempo que você escolher, para quando estiver de carona. Para retomar, use o mesmo menu. • "Ignorar esta viagem" descarta uma gravação que você não queria guardar. Amigos • Perfis de amigos refeitos, com os destaques e uma leitura dia a dia ou mês a mês. • Dê a um amigo um apelido que só você vê. Mapas e compartilhamento • O mapa Todas as rotas agora é desenhado em faixas de velocidade agrupadas, então um ano de direção carrega e se move sem travar. • Os cartões de compartilhamento de um período podem usar as suas próprias rotas sobre um mapa real como fundo, enquadradas do seu jeito. • "Vídeo de replay" e "Replay de velocidade máxima" no menu de compartilhamento são gratuitos para todos.
