FAQ

What does the GPS Speedometer app do?

This application functions as both a speedometer and a trip computer. It uses your phone's GPS to accurately measure and record your speed, distance traveled, and time. It also provides detailed trip statistics and can automatically detect when you are stopped.

What are the main features of this app?

Key features include real-time trip statistics like average and maximum speed, distance covered, and moving/stopped time. It also offers automatic stop detection, a head-up display (HUD) for windshield viewing, a built-in map for navigation, and support for various units of measurement (mph, kph, knots).

Is the GPS Speedometer app free to use?

The app is free to download and use, but it offers in-app purchases. These purchases likely unlock additional features or remove limitations, providing an enhanced experience for users who require more advanced functionality.

What devices is this app compatible with?

The description mentions an 'iPhone' specifically for the HUD feature, suggesting compatibility with iOS devices. While not explicitly stated for all features, it's designed to work with smartphones that have GPS capabilities.

How can I use the head-up display (HUD) feature?

To use the HUD feature, you need to enable it within the GPS Speedometer application. Then, place your iPhone under the windshield. The specially designed HUD interface will then project your accurate speed directly onto the windshield for easy viewing while driving.
