I had the paid version, which honestly wasn't really worth it as it worked no better than the free version. Had to delete it and download again - but I don't have the confirmation codes any longer for my paid version, and am back to the free one. Although it simply freezes on the first screen now and won't go any further --not working at all. Bummer. ### 2/5 — Scarily Inaccurate *2016-04-09, version 7.5* I installed this app on my iphone and that of my 10 year old daughter to help keep her safe. Set up was easy and I was able to avoid the $2.99 price by downloading both apps at the same time. However, I immediately noticed that although I held both phones in my hands, they were not showing the same location. And neither location was accurate. My phone said I was two addresses away; my daughter's said she was nearly a full block away. Over the next few hours the distance between the reported location of the two phones increased although they were both physically in my bedroom. By morning, my phone had reverted to a location two addresses away, but my daughter's phone was reporting a location two streets away and one block down despite having been less than a yard from my phone all night. I would completely uninstall this app from both phones if we could find a similar phone that didn't require iOS 8 (my daughter has an iPhone 4). I can only recommend this app to parents like me who are stuck for the time being with slightly outdated technology for their child. ### 3/5 — Deceptive pricing *2015-11-28, version 7.5* The program works as described. What they don't tell you is, after you download the free version and then you invite your friend or spouse to join so you can track one another's travel, that person will receive a link where it will cost $3.99 for the app. So I suggest you don't send the invite via the app until *after* your partner has downloaded the free version from the App Store. Then you can send the invite that gives them your permission to track you. As others have noted, the app eats battery, but that is unavoidable for this type of app. Not a problem if you are using your car's electric plug. Also good to know that when you quit the app (not just background it), you are no longer tracked. I wouldn't have minded paying $3.99 so my wife could track my cross-country drive, but I don't like the fact that I was tricked into inviting her into buying an app that I thought was free.
