Sauf qu'il manque pour la france le système géodésique RGF93 qui est le standard français utilisé par IGN et le gouvernement géomètre etc... Et également le regret que ce ne soit une version qu'en anglais même si ça ne pose pas trop de problème. Bravi. ### 5/5 — Use topo maps using MGRS with your iPhone! *2010-11-21, version 1.1.6* If you have ever been too lazy to teach yourself the ins and outs of the Military Grid Reference System (used on Australian topographic maps) no need to worry. This app converts your GPS position in a variety of angular coords to MGRS and UTM, and vice versa. It can be used as a calculator or it can convert your current position as sensed by the iPhone. This means you can productively use your iPhone GPS with Australian topo maps even when there is no cell phone coverage and you cannot receive Google Maps or Bing or anything else wirelessly. It has different map datums including the usual WGS 84 but also includes Australian 1965 which suits many of my maps. If you are an avid backcountry hiker/skier, the iPhone and the topo maps are a great combination. And of course you can photograph the topo map at home with some grid reference lines enumerated by hand, so you only need take the iPhone if you wish. ### 5/5 — Worked for me *2009-02-16, version 0* Worked great, got me out of a few jams where I was given dd m.m and needed pure decimal degrees for my iPhone. You may not always be within range of a cell phone signal, but you're almost always visible to GPS. As a soldier with an iPhone, this application gives me an easy way to find my 10 digit grid coordinate anywhere I am in the world. I hit the "present location" button, then "convert". The bottom of the list has the map designator (two letters) and grid coordinates to the meter (10 digit- but watch the accuracy since commercial GPS is usually only good to 30 meters). As a plus, there's a button to verify my location on Google maps (when there's an Internet or cell connection). I may not always have a DAGR or PLUGR (military GPS), but I've always got my iPhone in my pocket. Now I've always got my grid coordinates, degree of precision, and elevation. iPhones in Iraq and Afghanastan?
