This app does the basics but simply and effectively. Just tap on the Apple Watch app to record your track, sync when done (one tap) and it records a Workout, shows a map and (importantly for me as a photographer) provides a .GPX file that can be uploaded to Adobe Lightroom and used to Autotag photos to the map route. This is then retained in the metadata all the way through from RAW to JPEG, subject to how you set it up.
