This is a good basic app that does what you need it to: record your position while recording a track. Later, you can review the track on a map and get essential data like distance, average speed, etc. You can also create a marker at your current location. Later, you can review each of your individually recorded tracks.
There are other apps with more features, but they all require a subscription or a purchase outright. This developer will gladly take small donations to help improve his app
