The walks were easy to navigate and the information helpful. We found the information for the sights helpful and informative. We liked being able to add our own spots too (like our hotel) so we could see distances and plan accordingly. The gps guide is also helpful. The only issue we had was when we changed directions away from the original map it did not recalculate. After being told our visit would be underwhelming, we had a wonderful day. The app guided us to many interesting spots around the city. When you arrive at a location it has an audio guide that clearly explains to you everything you are seeing, just like having a local guide with you in person. And the walking directions are very easy to follow. I downloaded all of the city walks ahead of time. Then when I was in the city, I pulled up the walk. And it didn’t work, kept saying the map file was incomplete, would download a file and then got same error. However, there are many places of historic and cultural significance that were not available to add to existing ‘walks’. The two I was trying to add were the Mediterranean Balcony that is less than 500 feet from the Roman amphitheater; and the Roman Aqueduct, which is about few miles from the other ruins but is very much a part of the historical ruins of the Roman era. I would like a refund, but I am like one day past the 3 day free trial. ### 1/5 — No map without subscription *2026-01-22, version 5.3.1* It forces you to download local maps data, and then says you can only view the maps if you use the paid subscription. Another example of an app misleading the users. I’ll attempt to report this gross and shameful attempt of robbery via the App Store officials, in an effort for Apple to enforce some standards. It feels like the App Store is becoming the new Wild West, full of cons and snake oil. Perhaps the developer will amend the app or be explicitly clearer in the imitate description, so save others from the same fate. Don’t download if of your low on battery or concerned about the amount of network data it will consume.
