### 2/5 — Worked but splits are way off

*2023-08-13*

I downloaded this because I couldn’t get an Apple Watch Hike to sync with Strava, which normally works fine, but we were out of service for basically 2 days and I think that messed it up. Was happy to find a free utility to do this but the distance is .8 miles more than what my watch recorded and the splits are super wrong. Def no 9:26m miles on this scenic hike, all of them were at least 20 min and some were as much as an hour because I just left it running while we took photos and explored around each waterfall. I would say it needs an update but it’s a free app released 4 years ago and the only one by this dev. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

**Developer response:** Hello! I actually published this app just a few months ago and I’m still maintaining it, so if something is wrong I can try to fix it. In this case though I think the problem lies elsewhere as I just copy the gps data that the Apple Health app gives me and package it in a .gpx file, without altering it in any way. All the statistics (timings, distance, etc.) are also calculated by the Health app, not by me. Have you tried to open the activity in Apple Fitness and seeing if it is correct there? If so, there is nothing I can do, otherwise I would gladly try to find the bug and roll an update.

### 5/5 — Does exactly what it’s supposed to do

*2025-07-10, version 2.0.3*

If you want to grab GPX files from your workouts in the Fitness app, this app does it perfectly. They recently added support for watchOS 11 activities (including paddling) so it’s now perfect!

### 5/5 — just works!

*2024-11-18, version 2.0.2*

downloaded this app for a single purpose, and the app excelled at it. so easy and simple: just pick the workout, tap the ‘share’ button. no bells and whistles or extra stuff. thanks for this app!

### 5/5 — Nearly perfect

*2023-10-09*

I love apps like these: Do one thing. Do it well. No frills. No bloat.

One thing I’d like to see is an activity type filter. I’m exporting hiking activities, and they’re hard to find amongst all of my other activities (walking, cycling, etc) that I do way more of.

**Developer response:** Thank you, will be adding this soon!

### 5/5 — Got the gpx data

*2023-08-23*

I exported gpx data and viewed it in Google maps. It looked correct to me. The data exactly matches the data exported directly from the Apple health app so this looks like an exactly correct export other than the health app adding a bit of metadata that doesn’t look important. And this app seemed to export the gps coordinates with more numeric precision than the health app!

**Developer response:** Hello, thank you for you review! Yes, as you correctly guessed I do nothing more than package the data I find in the Health app into a .gpx file. Couldn’t find a simple and free way to do it otherwise, so I made this simple app.
