## What is GPX viewer 2?

GPX viewer 2 is my independent app for viewing and following your GPX routes. Carefully crafted for all outdoor enthusiasts – hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists and geocachers – with no ads and no subscription.

Import your routes from GPX files (tracks or routes), even if your file contains multiple tracks. Display them on a wide range of base maps (standard, satellite, OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, Swisstopo, IGN…) or on your own custom maps, and download them for offline use.

Browse the interactive elevation profile, statistics, points of interest, image galleries, and even an audio guide if your GPX file includes one. Weather conditions at the start of your route are also available.

Follow your progress on the map in real time, and with the navigation tools – compass, altitude, speed, and the ability to add manual bearing markers – you can head out on any adventure with confidence.

The app contains everything you need to go hiking and follow your route. To go further, three Pro levels are available as a one-time purchase – no subscription and no ads. A great way to support the app's development. Thank you!

I’ve been using this app for quite a while now. It’s great. It just seems that there is no option to use/see an imported track on 3D, or I may have not found it yet.

**Developer response:** Yes it is possible: from the settings select the « satellite 3D » base map. On the map use both fingers and swipe from bottom to top to move the map. (Like in Apple Maps)

…listing the trackage is not perfect:  1-9 is fine, but when adding 10,11 and more this tracks are listed just after 1 and before 2. That could be improved easy I suppose.

- New: image galleries now open in full screen (from GPX and waypoint detail pages)
- Improvements: many stability and performance improvements

I have also updated the Pro version system. It now comes in three cumulative levels that you can unlock.
