Ich habe mir die App angeschaut, weil ich hoffte, dass ich eine offline Heatmap aller meine Routen mir anzeigen lassen kann. Das scheint nicht zu funktionieren (ging das nicht in der alten Version?). Vielleicht habe ich es aber auch nur nicht gefunden. Sehe im übrigen kein Vorteil zu anderen Apps, außer dass die Daten bei mir bleiben (bietet aber Cyclemeter auch mit dort mehr Funktionen (allerdings kostenpflichtig). Diese App ist ab der dritten Route ebenfalls kostenpflichtig.

Is it possible to show 2 or more tracks at the same time to see the differences.

A German version would be really desirable.
I know it's not that easy.

Dommage qu’on ne puisse pas télécharger une carte hors ligne, sans GPX, juste comme une carte nue

**Developer response:** Non en effet, la fonction de téléchargement fonctionne à partir d’un fichier GPX. Le but est de faire son itinéraire hors ligne.

Il manque quelque chose comme l’affichage du tutoriel (itinéraire d’exemple) au premier démarrage de l’application. Car au lancement on tombe sur une carte vide sans géolocalisation, et on ne sait pas trop quoi faire, les icônes n’étant pas explicites et pas toutes cliquables.

Endlich eine App die genau macht was sie soll ,GPX Daten sichtbar auf einer Karte anzeigen . Nicht mehr und nicht weniger .Und das ohne Registrierung ,Bankverbindung ,Geburtsurkunde und Schuhgröße…. Top App.

I used this app for the first time last week whilst on a walking holiday with my girlfriend - it worked brilliantly on the downloaded GPX files I had, and I paid a fee (Dev even has 3 options on the payments you can make to unlock Pro version) for the Pro version so I could download offline maps and now after the trip, rename my GPX files from inside the app.

Truly easy to use whilst out walking and worked perfect … and the option from within the app to “Go to trail start” and use Google Maps to give me a driving route to the Walk start is perfect for me and simplifies things nicely.

Nice simple option to clear the extra cached map tiles once your walk is done, but you still want to keep the GPX files in the app for future use - nice, as not all apps let you clear their caches so easily.

Overall I highly recommend this app if you want a simple to use, reliable GPS walking app - great work by the Dev

Ich habe die App empfohlen bekommen, nachdem ich zwar viel über Komoot mache, dort jedoch immer einige Einschränkungen sind, z.B. während einer Aufzeichnung auf eine Tour zuzugreifen. 
Die App begrenzt sich auf die wesentlichen Funktionen: GPX-File importieren, ggf. editieren, Maps für offline Nutzung laden, navigieren. Nützlich auch, dass man die Anreise zum Startpunkt der Tour zur Navigation (Google Maps, Waze) direkt aufrufen kann. 
Man merkt, dass der Entwickler seine App selbst benutzt. 

Zusammen mit GeotagPhotos2, die ich zum Aufzeichnen der GPX-Files auch für meine Fotos verwende, ist GPXViewer die perfekte Ergänzung. 

Die Zusatzfunktionen der Pro-Version (mehrere GPX-Files, editieren u.a.) sind es wert.

Une application simple et sans prétention qui fait ce qu’on lui demande. Mais sans l’expérience utilisateur n’est pas gâchée par des popups de pub et d’achats inapp. Merci, merci, milles merci. J’ai envie d’acheter la version pro rien que pour récompenser cette gentillesse.

Après seulement quelques minutes d’utilisation je suis conquis, simple et efficace, permet de suivre son itinéraire et ne collecte aucune infos personnelles contrairement à d’autres. 
Je passe direct à la version pro !

Seule la version payante pourrait être intéressante. Il faut payer pour voir donc désinstallation.

Editing the gpx via editing the text file is not really an editing functionlity. I don’t know the co-ordinates of the points that I need to add, move or delete. 
What I understand of editing is graphicaly adding, moving, deleting, dragging points within the map.

I downloaded GPX file, and when I try to upload it on the app, the app simply froze. When I try to close and open the app again, it froze again. So, I deleted it, not worth it

**Developer response:** Can you please provide me the file? I can have a look and try to figure out why this happen. It should not crash, of course. Maybe there is something wrong with your GPX file format.
Instead of deleting the app, you can use the 'App fixing' feature from app settings to delete the file.

Yes, download maps for offline use requires Pro version. But online map with automatic caching is available by default and for all. It is totally enough to use my app for hikes.

Dommage que l application n’indique pas la direction après chaque intersection du trajet , du coup c’est la galère. Ce serait bien que l on puisse rajouter des chiffres croissants par exemple sur chaque intersection afin de suivre le tracé.

**Developer response:** Cette option existe déjà dans l'app : appuyez sur Réglages (en haut à droite depuis la carte) et activer "Afficher la direction".
Cela affichera des flèches de direction sur tout le tracé à intervalle régulier.
Afficher une flèche de direction à chaque intersection, comme vous le proposez, n'est pas possible car ça voudrait dire une flèche à chaque point GPS. Ça en ferait beaucoup trop et rendrait le tracé illisible.

De plus, si vous voulez ajouter "des chiffres croissants", c'est possible : il suffit que votre fichier GPX contienne des "points d'intérêt" (wayoints). Mon app les affichera (si vous activez l'affichage des Points d'intérêt dans les réglages).

I paid for the pro version of the app but it’s map download speed is very low... it takes more than 20 mins to download a 12MB map... not good!

**Developer response:** I totally agree. Unfortunately this is not linked to my app directly. It is probably this custom maps provider that is a bit slow. Or your internet connection maybe.

Bien mais j’aimerais pouvoir charger le fond de carte avant de partir en randonnée, donc sans gpx

**Developer response:** Bonjour, merci de votre commentaire. Cette fonctionnalité n'est pour l'heure pas prévue. Surtout en raison de la très grande quantité de données que ça ferait suivant la zone choisie. Il est plus optimal de télécharger la carte correspondant au tracé GPX.

Appli hyper simple et qui va a l’essentiel. C’est devenu un indispensable avant chaque rando ou trail pour visualiser le tracé en amont et voir les passages difficiles.

After trying many different apps to download the TET trail GPX tracks I downloaded this app. It is amazingly easy to use and you can just import the tracks that you need. I was on the TET today and it worked flawlessly with my iPhone and also works well with my iPad.

Je découvre cette application qui fait avec brio ce qu’elle promet. 
Je repère le parcours et l’enregistre avec mon Applewatch. Je récupère le fichier GPX dans l’app santé et je l’importe dans GPX viewer. Je peux ensuite refaire la randonnée ou la partager sans risque ! 👍
