Not sure what their purpose is, maybe to make people think they’re interacting with a human? Id prefer an option of buttons and text. I don’t need to chit chat with a robot. It’d be easier and faster and there would be no need for the chat screen, which has bugs when used on my iPhone. ### 1/5 — Half-baked app. *2021-04-21, version 10.1.3* No access to a paperless bill option. I would just Face ID and log in and I could handle anything within 5 minutes. Now It doesn’t save any of your information. Every time, I have to sign in like it’s my first time using the app. Then I have to search for my account each time I go to pay a bill, again like it’s my first time. Horrible ### 1/5 — BEWARE *2025-03-12, version 11.2.0* Be cautious using this app! There is no detailed billing information available just a total, so you have no information of what you are exactly paying for. Communications are inconsistent and they will not let you know if there is a billing issue resulting in unexpected fees. When searching it said my “account is sufficient” they must have meant $0 as the tag on my trash can said no funds available now I have a full trash can and have to wait another week as I hope I added funds but can’t tell. Also it doesn’t connect my water account so I missed a payment which used to be on auto pay and had to pay an extra 10%. It was super user friendly and intuitive. Now if have to look up and reconnect my account each time and I can’t see any balances on the Home Screen. ### 1/5 — New update is awful *2024-05-09, version 11.2.0* Water and trash accounts AND balances should be right in the homepage. I have to click through three different pages just to find my trash account balance and then another 4th page just to pay the balance. Needlessly complicated. Balances that I only pay once a month or so should be easier to see at a glance. I will say the new update does look nicer but it’s much less user friendly and should be much more simple since it’s just to pay city utilities. ### 1/5 — No trash balance info *2024-05-08* Not sure what the update was except to forget my trash service info each time I log in. Also there is no balance info and no way to reload money for trash services that isn’t automatic. Dark patterns. I really like the two interaction instead of having to find my way around the app and go through many menus. As the chief bill-person of my family I really appreciate having a good web app experience and iOS app. Most other cities you still have to mail checks! Good work in the app, I’ve had no issues with it. Love the reminders and chat bot. However, the amount of reminder emails regarding needing to put money in the account is beyond excessive. ### 4/5 — Multiple ticket payments *2018-04-13, version 1.1* I am a contractor and I have been working down town for the past few weeks. It is extremely annoying to be working hard and forget to go re set your parking or call in and reset it every two hours. I often miss it by a few minuets and I’ve already received a ticket. I often will wait until the last minuet to pay my tickets so some times I have more than one.This app makes it so easy to pay multiple tickets just type in your plate number and click on all of them and press pay. It took me 2 minuets from pressing download on the App Store to having my tickets paid for. (Results very depending on internet speed). The only down side is I won’t need the app in a few days when I’m not down town any more. So it’s impractical to keep on my phone ### 3/5 — Payments *2021-07-06, version 10.1.3* When I try to make a payment it wants my phone number. Once I put my phone number in and enter it gives me a blank screen and does not allow me to pay my city bills. Tried calling on it and get no help on fixing the problem. Just told to use the website which will charge a percentage for paying by email. ### 3/5 — Not Great Use of Taxpayer Money, but at Least Well Done *2018-10-16, version 1.3* In my opinion hiring developers to build iOS and Android apps for paying city water bills and parking tickets is a terrible use of taxpayer resources. Field names are almost totally illegible when using an iphone. Gave up, tried it on ipad. Not better.
