## What is GR20?

GR20 is a long-distance route located on the island of Corsica (France), in the middle of the Mediterranean. The recommended route takes us from Conca in the south-east of the island to Calenzana in the north-west.

The route is perfectly signposted with the marks of the long distance paths, two stripes, one white and the other red.

Along the route there are mountain refuges guarded that offer anything necessary  but due to the massive influx in the summer months it is necessary to make a reservation. 

The path, despite being situated on a Mediterranean island, runs through surprising alpine landscapes creating a magical mixture.

"Digital Hiking Guide" is the proposal of **HIKEORAMA** as an assistant in long distance routes.

It includes in a single application all the necessary information in your routes. Maps, meteorology and information of all the points that you will find along the way. All this presented in the most accessible possible way.

It will allow you to position yourself on the route and will help you to take better decisions.

Lacking tons of critical information, like where the refuges are on the route. Basically useless. Also, it hasn’t been updated in years. Go elsewhere for info on th GR20

the given water sources are helpful!
unfortunately no variants included…
the given route includes stages that are very short and some that are very long. I would suggest do do your own research and to create your own route!

Tout d’abord, cette app ne suit pas scrupuleusement le sentier du GR20 et utilise souvent des variantes, pas forcément balisées comme variantes officielles d’ailleurs. A ce propos, une de ces variantes m’a littéralement amené au bord d’un gouffre d’environ 5 mètres de haut, à 1/2h de marche du col de Vizzavone en direction du nord. Il m’a fallu rebrousser chemin. Ensuite, les variantes choisies ne sont pas forcément le chemin le plus court ou le plus rapide. Grosse incompréhension en ce qui concerne cette app, de part son manque de mise à jour évident et sa stratégie d’itinéraire. Je suis contraint de la déconseiller malgré le peu d’app spécialisées GR20 sur le marché
