Holy crap! I wish I knew about this when it first came out. It would’ve made all of our road trips snack run so much quicker!!!!! Go in, grab what you need, scan and leave!!! You literally just pick the items you need, skip the line, scan your barcode in app & go! It has been a life saver for me when running in and out with 2 kiddos. To set up the app was super easy and simple. Basically just need to link your credit card for purchases. When I used the app in the circle k it walked me through the super simple process. Check out was super easy and fast without waiting in line as usual. The receipt was accurate. It charged for the correct items. My only gripe is that there aren’t many stores using this. Hopefully soon! ### 4/5 — Very convenient and quick but… *2022-08-28, version 1.19* I do wish the receipts were available much sooner. I didn’t realize I had been charged twice for one of the items I purchased until the receipt was available several hours later. Getting a refund for that wasn’t available through the app which stated I had to get it from the store. The cashier told me I needed to take the problem to Grabango but I showed her what the app said. Either the stores need to be better informed about refunding mistake charges or it needs to be available in the app. Other than that, the app is actually pretty convenient and simple to use. I hate standing in line. Every time go I just hope that I don’t accidentally get charged for something I didn’t buy because the sensors didn’t recognize that I put something back on the shelf or I only got one of my items and not two. ### 5/5 — AURORA IL *2024-08-16* This has changed my life completely! Having 7 kids isn’t easy. I used to struggle coming into the grocery store but now I have them help me through it all. All thanks to Jackie! She approached me in a profesional manner, had patience with me since I kinda hesitated using it due to my kids being obnoxious. At the end, Jackie suggested we all weigh and scan the items that are per pound and we all had so much fun and had an amazing experience. Wish the company knew how great of an employee they have! She’s the reason I still come to this grocery store! We LOVE to Grab’an’go !! 💃🏼 ### 5/5 — IN AND OUT (skip the scanning) *2024-08-16* No lines No scanning No waiting I shop at the Aurora Aldi and the app is simple to use when I’m on my break there no hassle of waiting in line or scanning the groceriesThere are times I can’t use app because I’m on a budget and the preauthorization of 20 dollars and top of the money I’m spending already puts me in a hard spot but it’s a good idea and the employees are nice and friendly The young lady Jackie was telling me about the app and how everything works she was very nice and answered all the questions I had she even helped me clean up my strawberry spill and offered to go grab me another one. A very nice experience ### 5/5 — Skip scanning 🤯 *2024-08-16* Grabango is definitely a life saver, it’s super fast and easy. I use the Aurora, IL location it’s Super clean and organized. Skip the scanning of a regular self checkout. It amazing me every time I go through there. When im in a hurry it definitely help me get out of there faster. No LINES and no waiting for anybody else. The only thing that’s a little annoying is the pre-authorization of 20$ it is a little hefty especially when I’m sometimes just running in for item less than that. But other than that it’s pretty good all around. Also I would like to say the lovely employee JACKIE was such an amazing worker. She was very kind and polite. Jackie’s welcoming and enthusiastic attitude was what helped me take a step into using Grabango. She made sure I understood the ins and outs of how the app worked and how the system worked in general (kind of scary) every time I go in there Jackie is willing to help whether I need a box, bag or simple forgetting the item(s) I came in for. Jackie is willing to go grab it for me. Jackie is also willing to still doing those thing even when I go through the regular cashiers at Aldi. Definitely an amazing person and a dedicated employee!!!! Keep up the great work. 👍 ### 5/5 — Sooooo convenient! *2024-08-16* I was shopping at aldi with my grandma and I wanted to try to sign her up for Grabango since she’s always wanting to be “up to date with the kids”. An employee there by the name of Jackie was so helpful and patient with my grandma while she was trying to sign up. Jackie was even able to answer my grandma’s questions directly since she spoke Spanish! Love this app and love Jackie for helping us out!! ### 5/5 — ALDI AURORA IL *2024-08-15* I had an excellent experience with this app, thanks to Jaqueline! She was absolutely amazing and helped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated that she was bilingual—it made communication so much easier. Jaqueline is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I also loved the convenience of just scanning my phone and leaving—it saved me so much time. I stopped by my local Coen around lunchtime to grab some snacks & treats, and with the Grabango app, I was in and out in just a couple minutes. The other people in the store waited in line for at least 10 mins! My husband and I were so impressed with how the app knew exactly what we grabbed without having to scan any item individually. And our receipt was there in the app just a little while later!
