### 1/5 — New app, doesn’t detect radio

*2024-03-10*

I have two different apps that don’t work with my Mondo any more. Not much of an upgrade

### 1/5 — Had to buy android phone

*2024-03-02, version 1.1.644*

You say to use the older app with older radios but it no longer works. Yep these apps no longer work on any of my Apple devices but to my shock, the apps still work on android devices. So I bought a cheap $30 android phone and that will now be my app control for your radio. This was disgraceful on your part. Get the pun?

### 1/5 — Could be a lot better

*2024-02-08*

Too many steps to get to the saved stations or streams.

### 1/5 — Garbage. Doesn’t see the same speaker anymore

*2024-01-20, version 1.0*

App is garbage. No longer sees the same speaker I used on the old app, that also stopped working. They have decided to abandon support for the unit and want you to upgrade. Don’t bother updating like I did. There is no ‘refresh’ option so it’s just a waste.

### 1/5 — Broken Garbage

*2023-12-12*

So now, due to a firmware update, I need to use this pile of trash app. To start with, day/night dimming seems to be broken. It’s also 0 for 1 when it comes to alarms going off, so I suspect that’s broken too.

### 1/5 — Not compatible with older phones

*2023-12-11, version 1.0*

I now have 8 bricks in my house. GD updated the devices which now require a new app that won’t run on my iPhone. So I can’t control them remotely.

Unless I buy a new phone, all of my devices just lost most of their usefulness. Thanks GD.

### 1/5 — Where’s the volume slider?! How can you call this a remote?!

*2023-12-09, version 1.0*

Not happy. The old app was much more useful.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-12-08, version 1.0*

New App does not allow volume adjustments, or selection of presets by number. One must carefully scroll through a much too large and long list to find the station you want. It has eliminated the most useful parts of the old App and added difficult and useless controls. How this company constantly misses or avoids user friendly controls is simply amazing!

### 1/5 — Bring Back the Old App

*2023-12-07, version 1.0*

There's no way to adjust the radio volume via the app, and you can't adjust radio settings from the radio. I'd give it zero stars, but I had to give one star to write a review.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — doesn't work

*2026-01-02, version 1.1.716*

fix it please

### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work any more

*2025-05-22, version 1.1.716*

Nothing happens. It used to work nicely. I’m deleting the app.

### 1/5 — Used to work

*2025-05-05, version 1.1.716*

It used to work, but now it does not. It’s stuck “scanning for Grace Radios.” Junk software…

### 1/5 — Complete Junk

*2025-05-03, version 1.1.716*

App will not connect to my device. Junk

### 1/5 — Was working, now just stuck on scanning for Grace Internet radios ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

*2025-03-20, version 1.1.716*

It was working, but now when I open the app. It it stuck on a screen that states that it is “Scanning for Grace Internet radios”. No clue what I am to do. There is not an update: “The version of this app is 1.1.716”

### 1/5 — Fails to find radio

*2025-02-23, version 1.1.716*

Non starter. Who released this garbage?

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2024-09-10, version 1.1.716*

Will not find radio.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-09-03*

Like their other app: useless
Have a great digital, and the other app to download the elite version. The elite version sees radio, but cannot control it and says to update the firmware. Firmware has the latest version.
It’s sad that a radio that cost so much cannot have decent support app to go with it
At this rate, the old squeezebox was in a league of its own

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2024-06-15, version 1.1.716*

Latest update doesn’t find radio. Kinda useless now.

### 1/5 — Not much use

*2024-03-18, version 1.1.644*

Company does not maintain the software and it is now mostly incompatible with their radios, which is a waste when you have several of their radios and no longer can control them.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Update - Much appreciated!!!

*2023-12-16, version 1.0*

WOW! Fantastic update! Very impressive, intuitive, and a marked improvement on the interface! Love it and thanks to the tech support folks! Well done!

### 5/5 — I like I!

*2023-12-09, version 1.0*

I’m using it with the Grace Link tuner. Returns the ability to add and remove presets on the app. No need to go to the tuner to do this now. Just use the 3 vertical dots at the end of the preset you want to add or remove. Volume control on the app works just fine.

So, this version does exactly what I want it to.

### 4/5 — Focus on what it does …

*2026-03-16, version 1.1.716*

Because the app can do so much for a very complicated and impressive radio, people focus on the shortcomings too much. This app really helps one enjoy a terrific radio, including being able to save 100 stations. I love the ability to make use of Chromecast, especially with the Chromecast enabled stations. It helps me access so many favorites. Thank you Grace Digital for the Mondo Elite and the Link, which are very much helped by the app.

### 4/5 — Well overdue GOOD update

*2024-03-17, version 1.1.644*

I have been a Grace radio user since approximately 2016 or ‘17. So far back I had to toss my first generation radio and move to a Link when the old streaming service stopped being supported. The Link with the old iPad app was unreliable and offered no way, from the app, to set presets 11 to 99 from the app. That and reliability of the iPad connection durability is MUCH improved with this new Elite app upgrade. If I could add/edit the preset names (currently blank) for Amazon music collection I would add a 5th star.

### 4/5 — A minor improvement

*2024-02-09, version 1.1.644*

Still leaves a lot to be desired, but the UX has def improved from the original app. Volume is controlled on the home screen.

Feature Request: “shuffle” or “random”
Serve me any station in the world randomly. I want to discover new stations without thinking about it!

### 3/5 — 2 Issues

*2025-02-08, version 1.1.716*

1) When you turn it on with the app it doesn’t come on with the last station played. You have to select the preset again.

2) You cannot select the sleep timer/fade out function with the app.

These would be two great improvements

### 2/5 — It used to work…

*2024-09-26, version 1.1.716*

But now nothing. This app is terrible, it just doesn’t connect anymore. Thanks for nothing A holes.

### 2/5 — Song info gone

*2023-12-05, version 1.0*

I understand that change happens, BUT I don’t like it when I’m forced into it (GD control) stopped working with newest version) And now, the new app (Elite) does not seem to support song info anymore.
Please fix (either)!
