## What is Grade 1 English?

Grade 1 English helps young children learn English with songs, stories, pictures, and games. The lessons follow the Grade 1 English textbook used in Myanmar schools, so children can practise at home what they learn in class.

LISTEN & PRACTISE
All 8 units of the Grade 1 course, lesson by lesson:
• The ABC song in capital and small letters
• 19 picture stories with friendly voices, like "The Noisy Animals" and "The Red Ant"
• Action songs such as "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes"
• Letters of the Week: hear each letter with words that start with it
• Teacher and student conversations that build speaking confidence

LEARN & PLAY
A picture quiz that checks reading. Children look at a picture, listen to the sentences, and choose the right one. Three correct answers win a trophy.

PICTIONARY
An A to Z picture dictionary with 78 words. Tap a letter, then tap a word to hear it spoken.

AUGMENTED REALITY (AR)
Point the camera at the pictures in the Grade 1 English textbook and watch them come to life as 3D models. Turn the models around and listen to how each word is spelled.

MADE FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
• No ads and no in-app purchases
• Works offline once installed
• Simple, colourful screens that young learners can use on their own

Grade 1 English is a good fit for kindergarten and Grade 1 children, early readers, and anyone starting to learn English as a second language. Parents and teachers can use it to support the alphabet, phonics, vocabulary, reading, and spelling.
