They are going out of business. ### 2/5 — Wishy Washy Experience *2025-01-12, version 8.7.4* When I was first approved for the app it was great, had a nice limit and the ability to pay it back was easy as it was on autopay… Then the decrease to the credit limits happened… Then the inability to borrow even though you were making timely payments and you had an available credit happened… Then I was charged twice in a month so I discontinued autopay and would pay through bill pay. All was great until I start receiving missed payment emails even though I knew my bank paid. Customer service told me they don’t accept bill pay though every payment I made in the last three months prior to the issue was made that way. Thankfully my bank was able to provide proof of the payment being cashed so they update the balance. Now I can’t even log in to see my balance. The app has been down for days, every time I try to log in it just loads and does nothing. ### 1/5 — It has become trash now *2025-01-07, version 8.7.4* Opened an account a couple years ago. I was randomly told that I not longer qualify for an account and my account was closed. Customer service is horrible, and the app has not worked for days. I have reached out to customer service, and sent an email, and have received zero response. I went into the account to update my bank to make my payments— received messages for days that I had to wait for to sample deposits in— every day the message would say by the next day at 5 the deposits will be there. Deposits never hit and now the app wont even work correctly. When I try to log in and bypasses it and just gives me a white a gray screen. I’ve reached out to customer service by email no response other then the auto generated response and the number they have does not work. Idk what my account is reflecting and after uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times the app is still not wording. Ironically I try to get back into my account to pay it back , now my account won’t load!!! I’ve emailed Grain and tried calling the company phone number provided once I emailed…. Guess what !! The number doesn’t work ! I’m truly annoyed and dissatisfied with this Compay ! I feel like I’m not important and they don’t take matters seriously regarding their customers! I don’t want to pay the interest or yearly $70 fee for using the app ! I was able to easily transfer funds to my bank account as they became available. Without warning, I was no longer able to use the credit line. All of the sudden, I started receiving constant calls from creditors demanding payment months later. Last time I checked it said I was getting a refund and my account was paid off. But today I received a message saying that I still owe. But I can’t even get into the account to verify. Then they stated they would mail a check and I haven’t heard from them since. Do not use this sketchy app. The app does not work. I cannot sign in so I can have my security deposit returned. How does a paid-off account still get a derogatory status? • I’ve disputed this with Experian, but the fact that it happened at all proves Grain Technology is completely unreliable. Final Verdict: Avoid Grain Technology Inc! This company falsely reports negative marks on your credit, even after you’ve paid off your account. If they can damage my credit over $1, imagine what they’ll do with a real balance. The phone is also having issues. Recording comes on stat that I called outside of hours but I call within the operating hours. They actually give back to their customer. I received a rebate which cleared my balance completely. I didn't mind paying the payment, because they were very affordable. Sweet as it gets ### 5/5 — Cryptocurrency recovery *2023-08-07* I was so impatient to carry out necessary research but i really wanted to jump on the crypto trading and investment buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 80,000 GBP worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 280,000 GBP within a couple of weeks. But i didn't realize i was dealing with a scam company, until i tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because i could not afford to let it go. So i tried all possible means to make sure i recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptocurrency, funds with the help of itech koa. So i file a report and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds within two weeks. I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam, reach out to itechkoa@Gmail. ### 5/5 — Only use if really needed *2023-01-31, version 8.4.12* So I will say that Grain did come in handy, especially during the height of Covid. I was able to use cash from my credit line that I needed. However, I find it very troublesome to pay them because when you initiate a payment, they never take it out right away and I’ve had numerous times where it still didn’t take out on the day it was supposed to so, there will be other things drafting my account and by the time Grain does it I get hit with a check return fee from my bank because Grain tries to draft the money on days other than the one I intended it to so that proves very troublesome, and keeps my bank at a constant flux I really wish Grain would offer a way to pay and they pull out the money the same day there’s no reason why in the 21st-century you aren’t able to process payments at the time it is initiated ### 5/5 — Been an amazing waiting experience! *2022-12-14, version 8.4.8* After applying the app says that I have been placed on a waiting list which usually takes a couple weeks to get the other customers ahead of you taken care of. It says, “once your application is complete and identity is verified you will have access to your credit with Grain in seconds!” I checked everyday after two weeks for about 10days. I stopped checking. 2 months has gone and pass with still the same message. It’s now Dec 13,2022 I applied on Sept 25, 2022. Fantastic experience for those in need of some financial assistance and can wait months possibly many many months to get any answer! Hopefully, my day will come where I can have credit with Grain in seconds. Everyone’s reviews are that this is a spectacular product so I really hope I’m able to use it soon! ### 5/5 — Amazing App! *2022-05-18, version 8.3.10* Grain has made a dramatic impact on my credit score. In only 5 months it went from a 549 to a 719. My credit has always been this heavy weight that I have carried with me for years. My score has prevented me from being able to rent an apartments, car, or take out loans. Then I found Grain. The Grain app is super easy to use. I can make cash withdraws and I can pay my balance all in one place. I was skeptical at first about the app like anyone who is trying to turn their credit around. But I paid all the payments on time and each month my score started to climb up. Right now it’s in the fair zone…almost at good credit. I have not had good credit since I was 20. Thank you Grain for helping me face this obstacle. I 100% recommend the app!!! ### 5/5 — Use to like this Company!! *2021-11-19, version 8.1.7* I’ve been a customer with this company for over a year and never missed a payment about a month ago they’ve been having severe issues with their app updates and for some reason every time I’ve tried to reconnect my bank account even after going back-and-forth with the customer service over emails nothing or no one will help me fix my situation and it’s very frustrating they have a customer service phone number but you can never get through to an actual person on the phone I’m really starting to wonder if this company is a legit company or not they say they’ll get back to you in two days through email and who has time to sit here playing tag on email messages I really hope something can be done soon or I will have to report the issue to my bank and to the credit bureau so they don’t mess up my credit!! #Wish somebody would help me **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your loyalty!
