Not a substitute for other granular tools, but well worth having in the toolkit. ### 4/5 — Good idea, getting better *2015-08-01, version 4.1* As promised, the latest update improves pass through sound drastically. GrainProc is now a nice addition to the toolkit of any sonic dabbler. The ability to reverse what's going on would be a nice addition, nest time. Two features I'd love to have are stereo support (especially for Mics such as the rode ixy) and also the ability to change the pitch of the grains would be great!! The simplicity of the interface is deceptive; one can do A LOT with this app as a performance instrument as well as 'mere' live processing. I did check to make sure before downloading it that the specs hadn't changed... so, my fix is in the developers' hands because I have an iPad I. ### 5/5 — Sweeeeet. *2013-09-25* Audiobus support just turned this into a 5-star app. Very useful. This is a small gripe, and no offense meant, but the only issue I have is I think the font used in the app is a bit tacky. The color scheme could also be prettier...but these are cosmetic issues (and just my opinion). They don't take away from the fact that this app is now officially totally awesome. ### 5/5 — Great tool for making unique music *2013-01-02* If you are into making space music, psychedelic rock, noise music or ambient sounds, you should try this.
