Is there no chance to get it back? *2025-03-17, version 17* I paid, in full, few months back since I believed it was a one-time payment. Anyone would think so. Now, I can’t seem to get what I paid for since the app shifted into a subscription-based system. I loved this app, badly. Is this just an error? Also there is no explanation or rationale for a wrong or right answer. This app was way too easy, and I also noticed a few grammatical errors. I'd pass if you're a native speaker. ### 3/5 — Good for a quick refresher *2011-11-28* This is the free version of Grammar Up. The app itself is very easy to use and straightforward. Students can choose from ten different grammar categories, and test themselves with five to ten questions for the category they select. This app is good for a quick refresher on something like conditionals, prepositions, etc. I would recommend it for a student just needing to see a few examples to get over the hump on figuring something out in an English class or any class where papers are written. However, you really do need to upgrade to the paid version to be able to rely on this for your day-to-day grammar needs. The content was great. On the second test I noticed casino style slot machine above the sentence. It was very distracting having 7777 rolling over and over while trying to read a question. Then I realized that this app is made for children and became very alarmed. There is nothing wrong with grammerly ads just put the them far away from the question and don’t make them flash every two seconds. The flashing can also cause in anxiety in students who may not have had it before starting this app. Kids with ADD don’t need to be tempted to play dangerous gambling games while reading. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work! *2017-11-29* It is not good!
