### 4/5 — Grammar

*2022-07-28*

Kids having fun while learning! What more can you ask for.

### 4/5 — Great,

*2020-08-06*

This is a great app, I haven’t paid for the reason of it but the free part is nouns. I didn’t even know there were different type of nouns, rlly helps so remember with the songs they sing I recommend listening to the whole thing, and maybe writing it down, but very helpful indeed. Also I’m on iPad and the sound is working fine, maybe for the others maybe an update?

### 4/5 — Addition or upgrade???

*2015-09-06, version 1.2.1*

Purchased this app over year ago I believe before the "school version" or I just didn't see it.

I would like to be able to delete progress so my kids can start over and would like to have multiple users (on the original version.) Or this would be a 5 star!
Looks like my option to do that is to buy the same app for another 12.99 😳 and I have already bought the app in its entirety. Which was hard to justify the price but after a year and seeing how often my kids use it - it was a good purchase But can't justify to pay for an app again 😞

Would be nice to be able to upgrade the current version. As I've already spent a good deal buying the entire version over year ago.

If these things are possible on the original app then it's not easy to locate (I've looked). I homeschool 4 kids and they love this app it's taught them so much in a fun way. Just not able to do multiple users and track individual is VERY unfortunate 😞

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2015-02-11*

I love the app! I got the in app
Purchases and it's awesome but on the
Punctuation app I wish you had
Quotain marks,commas,etc
So please add that and it will be ok!👍

### 4/5 — Review from a teacher

*2014-12-03, version 1.2*

I'll begin by saying that on the whole this app is good, I like the design of it and the music videos are fun! It is a useful app to introduce nouns, verbs etc. and the quiz feature is a great way to consolidate learning, so thank you.

However, I feel it is a shame that this app seems to be aimed at Americans. It is clear that a lot of effort has gone into it and I wish it was more accessible to those of us in the rest of the world. American states and the Declaration of Independence are not great examples of proper nouns for my students here in England.

Also, the sound quality on the videos is quite poor! I'd expect better from a paid app.

Other than that, this app will be regularly used in my classroom.

### 2/5 — No Captions

*2014-01-08*

This is a great app but unfortunately is, in its current state, exclusionary in that it does not accommodate differentiated learners who rely on captioning as a primary or supplementary source of instruction. Please consider, for future updates to include captioning in ALL spoken materials and videos for this app. This app can appeal to a much wider audience than it is currently serving. Please consider the students who are left out from the benefits of this app, as it is. Thank you.

### 4/5 — I need help

*2013-10-15, version 1.1*

I purchased the full version but I having troubles using the prepositions section, while the other parts of speech worked fine.

Please help

Also I need because the new update the whole app is not working

### 3/5 — Good app

*2013-07-17*

Grammaropolis is an exiting way to improve your English. Offering a large range of areas to help you learn including: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions and interjections. Grammaropolis provides audio and hands on ways to learn. With many videos and quizzes, Grammaropolis serves as an inviting application aimed at children ranging from 6-14 years of age.

Some of the improvements that I would advise to the producers of Grammaropolis would be to reduce the price of the full download of the application to make it more affordable and friendly to buyers. Grammaropolis could also either; add extra or lengthen their tests to give more variety and options to the user.

The videos in Grammaropolis were a great inclusion. The videos include helpful subtitles and great catchy ways to help remember the different parts of speech. Then the videos are followed with mini quizzes that help reinforce what you just learnt in the video. This was a great interactive way to help children learn.

All in all, I believe that Grammaropolis is a great application. Providing both a fun and interactive way of learning. With a slight tweak of price, Grammaropolis would be an awesome application for a large range of people.

### 4/5 — A homeschooling family

*2013-01-17*

I got this app 2 nights ago to reinforce other work teaching the same material. Today, my son asked to do an extra part of speech because he loves the songs. Before bed, he asked for the album from the music store so he could listen as he went to sleep. I cannot complain because he is asking for multiple opportunities to learn.

### 4/5 — E

*2013-01-15, version 1.0.2*

I teach a year 7 (US grade 6) class and find the app ver useful. I would love to have a British English version though. Any chance you could make an adapted version for the UK?

### 4/5 — Finding mistakes

*2013-01-09*

We LOVE this app but are finding some errors. In Verbs, for instance, several quiz questions either do not have a word highlighted or the correct answer is not even a choice. Please correct soon!

### 1/5 — it’s a dumb app!

*2020-09-23*

THIS APP IS SOOoOoOooOoOoO DUMB!

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2018-04-27, version 1.2.5*

I was very impressed with this app. However it has stopped allowing me to use it despite buying the full contents. I am hoping for it to be fixed asap

### 1/5 — No sound!

*2016-09-07, version 1.2.5*

Sound does not work. Please fix it.

### 1/5 — No sound

*2016-08-29, version 1.2.5*

I read another review that said the same thing. I thought surely they must not know how to work the app. Nope, it's the app! Glad I tried the free version first!

### 1/5 — No sound

*2016-08-24*

This app looked so promising, and I was hoping to purchase the complete app bundle for grammar and punctuation because it "seems" like it would fall under my daughter's learning type, but I can't know for sure because despite the app showing the sound is on, my iPad's sound being fully turned up, every other sound-making app on my iPad working, this app refuses to play any sound. How can I know if the app will work and become a good addition to my daughter curriculum, if I can't hear a thing? I've even deleted it and went back to the App Store to get it again, but no luck. It refuses to play sound. I won't purchase the bundle without being positive it will play sound because that would be a big waste of money. Fix your app, please!

And now as I look at the ratings, other people face the same sound issues. I have an iPad Air, but I can't imagine what kind of development problem the app could have to not be sound be compatible. I also checked out the updates for this app, the most recent update is Nov2015. So i guess it's safe to assume that there will not be any changed made to fix these issues. What a total bummer. This app looked so promising.

### 1/5 — No Sound

*2015-11-03*

The sound doesn't work, making this app useless. They also do not have an active support site, it seems. Many people are trying to reach them on Facebook after failing to get a support email returned. Facebook hasn't been updated in months.

### 1/5 — Not what I was expecting.

*2013-06-05*

This app is very American and not suitable for Australian children. The concepts and quizzes are not easy and therefore not suitable for students in Primary school. Primary students don't need to know the depths of grammar ( yet) that this app is presenting.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2012-12-16, version 1.0.1*

This app is just plain horrible, none of the buttons seem to work and the presentation in no way grabs a child's attention.

### 2/5 — Want to love it

*2014-11-08, version 1.2*

This seems like a great idea. None of the sound works.

### 5/5 — Good idea

*2016-10-23, version 1.2.5*

Nice idea and layout. Not a cheap old app. Better than most apps.

### 5/5 — great way to learn

*2014-11-18, version 1.2*

loving this app in every way. its original, fun and most of all effective in learning grammar for the first time or simply brushing up. sound works fine on the ipad.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2014-04-10*

Both my 3rd grader and I learned something from this app. It's entertaining enough that my daughter would play it on her own...which is saying a lot. Love it!

### 5/5 — Super útil

*2013-05-07, version 1.0.3*

Es la mejor app de gramática yo la uso en mis clases aun con adultos.vale cada centavo Totalmente recomendable su compra!!

### 5/5 — Best app EVER!!

*2013-03-03, version 1.0.2*

Omg this is literally the best app ever and might just of saved my life! I've just started a TEFL course and need to learn all about grammar. This is just so clear and the funny music videos make things stick in your head. Absolutely well done for making this and thank you! It is hard to find time to study with having a full time job so this will be great to listen to on a break or before bed when you can't be bothered to read or don't have the time :)

### 5/5 — Muy buena

*2013-02-27, version 1.0.2*

Es muy útil para mi que estoy tomando clases para ser maestro. Pero no es útil para una persona que no sabe nada de inglés.

### 5/5 — Very Happy Mom

*2013-01-30*

Tonight my 1st grade son asked me to purchase Nouns. I didn't want to miss my chance to keep the learning rolling, so I bought the full version and was very happy with the results. My son sat for an hour playing with this app and then followed me around the kitchen explaining the different nouns to me. Thank you!
