Add employee time-clock and loyalty program features
Implement employee self-service time-clock (check-in/check-out), manager-side time log management with approval workflows, and payroll calculation methods (Generous/Hourly). Add customer loyalty program with point tracking, VIP scoring, and redemption at checkout. Includes work sheet PDF generation, batch employee operations, per-customer detail views with stats, and in-app selling price/description editing for items. Adds gp_employee_self, get_customer_sales_stats, and GP Time Log server scripts, along with new DocTypes for time logs and pay adjustments.
Introduce cash register functionality and wide-ranging server/client features: add GP Cash Session & GP Cash Adjustment doctypes, Cash Register page, open/close/adjust flows and server APIs to fetch cash sales and adjustments. Implement returns/refunds flows: sales returns (credit notes), purchase returns (debit notes), and journal entry reversal APIs + UI actions (invoice refunds, receipt returns, reservation/pool refunds, expense reversal). Add receipts-by-item search, item sales stats, license status API and client-side trial-lock handling (trial-ended screen, license banners, and disabled-user detection). Improve ERPNextService: bootstrap-scope breaker override, circuit-breaker handling, image URL re-resolve, caching fixes, bulk queries for pool/customer data, enhanced receipts pagination and scoped queries. Huge performance improvements will be felt in this update with the modification of the background saving process. We now use a db table to save data using hive and update all the data based on changes in the server instead of updating tables every time we update the changed rows which i call delta!
In addition, small improvements where added in most modules for performance too. You can now attach a photo in the accounting module to journal entries too.
The tickets can now be previewed from the open tickets page by holding press on the ticket.
I'd also like to introduce a local user based notepad app wide, that allows the user to take notes that save locally while using the app. these notes are user specific and do not transfer between logins. they are saved solely on device so if you reinstall the app from scratch you will loose them as of now. I'm currently considering pushing them to the server for usage over all devices but this is for another update.
The home page now filters items in the sub-assembly category too as they aren't items that are created to be sold, rather they are created to be used in the BOMs of each item.
I'm currently planning on improving all the existing modules i haven't yet touched before adding any new features. I'm planning to focus mostly on performance at the moment with the goal that users with low spec devices should still be able to run the app smoothly!
