I can see how it could get boring waiting for plants, but that’s the fun for me at least. I love the graphics. I wish at least at first it had mini games like you could open grandmas house and move furniture around or mini games like make bed, make tea or coffee, make a knitted scarf or sweater to gift to flower/plant people, and pay bills with fake tiny checks signed to grandma for getting paid or to her garden business mini games. I absolutely love the game just wish something to do why wait at first. I love the gardening aspects of this game, the plants, veggies and fruits are great, and I love trying planting combos to get new plants. But like I said, I’ve always had problems with this game and I’ve hit my last straw. I got purchased the extra plot of land after grinding for coins, and nothing will grow on it. Completely a waste of coin and my time if I’m being honest. If the glitches/problems are ever fixed, maybe I’ll return to it. The characters and dialogue are great, and the music really calms me. I like growing new plants, but I am having trouble with two things: 1. The setting is beautiful, the characters are great, and I’m loving the different story arcs with your Garden Golems! However, I feel I need to point out a glitch that mainly has to do with Turnip. I managed to complete his story arc no problem, but I’ve had to reset because Turnip would get replaced with Apple(not that I don’t love Apple, but I wanna make sure Turnip is a part of this too). Plus, when Turnip gave me his gift, it was a cotton candy machine(which I assume is from Cotton). This is an sweet and calming game, and I want it to thrive- I just had to talk about this so I don’t lose all of my Garden Friends🪴 Best Wishes!🪴 (also my favorite is Pumpkin solely because I also grow pumpkins okay bye🎃) ### 2/5 — I would give this a 2.5 *2024-04-15, version 1.3* It takes a long time for your plants to grow, and also this game is actually very boring. There’s only two places you can go to: Your garden and plant and prosper ( the plant seed shop) and the lady to talk to. ### 4/5 — golems keep disappearing? *2024-03-21, version 1.3* i'm not sure where else to put this.. is this supposed to happen? the second i get the golems to evolve, they reset or disappear. like every week or so. on top of that, the collection book doesn't seem to work. when looking through it multiple times, the sizes collected change, so it's pretty unreliable. i have to save one of each type of plant to see what i've grown. other than that, the game is very cute and fun. the lack of the constant bombardment of ads is refreshing. and i love how realistic the plant breeding is! ### 3/5 — it's ok *2024-02-18, version 1.3* i was absolutely in love with this game up until i bought the garden expansion, now my game glitches every time i open it, my plants in the garden expansion keep turning into mushrooms and just not growing, and all of my decorative items glitch back into the middle of the garden every time i open it and then after i put them in my inventory, they glitch back out and i end up with a million duplicates. sad to say i'll be putting this game down & probably never opening it again ### 3/5 — I love the game, but the bugs are too bothersome *2024-01-21, version 1.3* The game is adorable, and amazingly beautiful, but the bugs are too hard to ignore. As others have mentioned, the problems I’ve been having are my golems de-evolving, losing turnip and crocus golems despite having their sticker/evolving them, not being able to give the golems tasks, as well as shops resetting even though they say they have several hours left till they’re supposed to reset and not being able to get rewards for tasks. I hope the bugs are fixed soon, because I’m not sure I can continue playing at this rate. ### 4/5 — Amazing but could be improved *2023-12-24, version 1.3* I love this game it's very interesting and enjoyable to play over time. However my only issues are that the achievements, plant log, money, and golems all glitch occasionally. I’ve completed multiple of the achievement tasks in order to earn said achievement (such as till the whole garden) and it was never awarded to me, same with level up all the golems, collect all the golems, etc. The plant log glitches when I try to look at how many types of fruits, veggies and flowers I’ve collected. After being in the log too long or something it starts telling me I’ve collected everything, which I haven't. For the money whenever I go to see the merchants I can’t sell furniture for any money to the furniture teen, and there's like almost an infinite money glitch when I sell produce to the plant saleslady granny, it doesn't register how many times I can click on my items. Finally for what I can remembr right now, the golems don’t stay levelled up and don’t do the tasks I ask them to do. I’ve only asked them to water the plants once though, which they didn't do. And I give them gifts frequently so it’s not a matter of the joy meter. Otherwise the game is really fun these issues are mild inconveniences that don’t bother me too much but it would've great if the dvs could fix it. ### 2/5 — This game could be so fun… *2023-12-20, version 1.3* I love the style of this game, and it’s such a fun concept, but the bugs are outrageous. I could deal with the glitches for the most part, and was excited to have saved up enough coins to do the expansion. To my dismay, once I got the expansion and planted seeds in my new expanded garden, I realized that when I exited the game, none of my plants on the new plot grew. I came back to a bunch of mushrooms in all of the spots where I put my seeds…this also happens if you leave your garden to go to the shops and come back. So essentially, the new plot is useless and all of the coins spent were wasted. This is on top of the bugs with the daily tasks and golems. I really do love the game and would love to play it, but if the expansion doesn’t work it feels like there’s nothing to work towards. Great concept, but poor execution unfortunately. I would give 5/5 stars but I encountered the golem issue of the first day i got the game i unlocked the pumpkin the crocus and the tulip and then i opened the game the next day and had had lost crocus and gotten apple and cotton unlocked, however i had a feeling this would happen as that seems to be the only problem with the game so far! but it doesn’t take away from the game play to me and i check it probably every hour just to see the cute little game that is so peaceful and not shoving and advertisement in your face every 2 seconds. also keep in mind the game out in about may so they are still working on fixing the tiny game play issues and i wouldn’t let the golem problem keep me from playing the game:) ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Still Glitching *2024-04-27, version 1.3* I was giving gifts to the little friends, and it froze so I ended the game and restarted. I had just planted the entire garden a few minutes before, and when I came back the entire garden had already bloomed and died in a matter of seconds. This has happened to me before. Why doesn’t someone fix this issue? It’s not fair that we spend our game money on plants and then have the game glitch and kill them all. Please someone fix this game or I’m going to delete. Also why do the plants have to die so quickly? We should at least have a 24 hour period before the plants end up dead. Not everyone can check the game every couple hours. Please fix this, it’s making the game so stressful when it should be a stress free cute game. ### 1/5 — Stressing me out *2024-04-18* This game was really cute at first, but now there’s no telling when the plants are going to die. I spent a bunch of money on seeds, planted them, and came back thirty minutes later and the entire yard was dead. According to the cultivate mode, it was supposed to take between 60 and 240 minutes to grow, so how does that make any sense? I watered the plants and everything. That’s not fair. So instead of this game being soothing and calming like it should be, it’s stressing me out to the point I don’t even want to play it anymore. Can you please fix this issue, the plants shouldn’t be dying so soon. You should at least have 24 hours before the plants die. Who has time to come back every five minutes to check on their plants? Once you upgrade your golems and they grow you are supposed to be able to assign them tasks. The only thing that happens is a watering can appears in their hand and they walk around but they do nothing. I completed all 3 daily tasks for what it says is a “reward” but received no reward. Now the daily tasks don’t update at all so all three remain eternally checked. I have submitted things to the contest but nothing ever comes of that either. The items in the store are insanely expensive and just not worth the work. But what is making me uninstall today is the fact that I can no longer water any plants or trees. Yesterday it was acting weird because instead of tapping the garden plots once to water like I normally do, I now had to tap twice. Today no matter how many times I tap, I can’t water so everything is dying.
