I’ll be using the app, leave it open in the background while using another app, and suddenly my phone overheats or freezes. Is there a fix for this? I’m constantly having to force restart my phone when this happens ### 3/5 — Need updated *2022-04-28, version 1.2.14* I like the app. It is a very handy app to have within my business that allows me to have an mobile device to walk around my Ace Hardware. I would just really like to see a few updates/ upgrade to the app please. 1. Add the ability to have a favorites list added to that app very similar to the One built into ISO 14. 2. I would also like the ability to not have all my contacts on my cell phone be visible within the app. I use this app for work purposes only and I want to keep work and personal separate. 3. Also would like the app to have the ability to add groups so I could group my contacts that I use within my business for calling different associates in different departments. Synchronizing with Outlook Contacts allows you to pull up Contacts and place calls easily. HOWEVER, if you intend to use this App in connection with voice over Internet (VOIP) service through 1-Voip, I caution you to find a different VOIP service provider. 1-Voip is a very small company and their technical expertise appears limited in that, when trying to install and set up Grandstream, their knowledge only goes so far. My experience with 1-Voip included conflicting instructions with Grandstream depending on which person I spoke with in Tech Support or in the Service Desk. ### 3/5 — Great application with one major draw back *2020-07-29, version 1.2.14* Great application with full flexibility to use many options. On all other apps like facetime or whatsapp when you make video call and person accept it, the camera automatically get activated. Many times it does not. My phone has been connected to my company’s WiFi, connected, and when I walk outside, I get disconnected and reconnected notifications like it’s supposed to. The app, however, never seems to reconnect when I get home, and as a result, gets stuck in a disconnected state and I have to reconnect the following morning when I realize I’m not getting any calls because my phone hasn’t reconnected automatically. Contacted GS support regarding this, and they told me to check the Background App Refresh setting (already on). Beyond that, they stated they tested on their end, and found no issue, pointing me to a StackOverflow article discussing how iOS apps behave in the background. ### 1/5 — Unusable Battery Killer *2020-03-08, version 1.2.12* Nothing to do, battery killer app, no more than 4 hours from 100% to 5% uninstall all apps to test GsWave. Thought this will be a good app for their hardware, but it’s full of bugs. SIP video don’t work ( Android version works, but not iOS). Eats battery even in background. It was easy to setup, even with encryption for sip and media. The only reason it got a 4 stars and not 5 is because it doesn't unregister the extension when you close the app according to asterisk logs. If this was fixed it would be the perfect app and come on its free.
