Even with zero calls and the iphone 16 being used only for this app, it needs to be fully charged every day. Nothing amazing considering its part of their premium platform offering and they are big in the VoIP business. ### 2/5 — Plus de sonnerie, pas de vibration *2024-10-25, version 1.27.11* Bug ### 2/5 — App was great, then it wasn’t. *2024-10-14, version 1.27.8* I’ve been using the app for a year with no issues, very reliable and stable, it had become the way we did business and we relied heavily on it, an update came out with a bug that makes the phone not ring when a call is coming in, it’s been two weeks and this has become a huge burden on our daily business operations. The bug remote was given to their dev team to patch but in the meantime the app is now useless to us, a simple fix would be to roll back the published version to the last stable one. I love all of grandstrams solutions but this one bug is a big problem if you have mobile workers that rely on communication . ### 2/5 — Frequently halts updates *2023-11-02, version 1.23.13* I have pretty much come to the point of force quitting the app two or three times a day as a preventative measure. I frequently find it no longer updates. I often see notices of a missed call that never rang on my phone, and often see that the most recent call in the history is old and numerous calls have come in since that time. First issue is that it must be open to receive calls. There is no option to automatically receive call notifications without opening th app ans having it run in the background. The second issue is that the call history is sporadic, where some calls that should be patched through are, and some are not. The wave app on android phones work perfectly fine, receiving calls and notifications just like for instance WhatsApp. However on iOS devices it seems I cannot receive calls when I am not on the app. This is a huge problem as it should be running in background so that I can receive calls even when my phone is locked or is on another app. Please fix this ### 1/5 — Failed login in iOS app, while success in android *2025-08-20* The quality is unbelievably bad... It took me hours to figure out that the iOS app wouldn't let me log in, even though the same credentials worked fine in the Android app, Windows desktop app, and web page. I have used authentic DigiCert certificate... and still no luck... I'm very disappointed in the quality of this service, given how good it could be if it worked ### 1/5 — Complete Joke *2024-12-04, version 1.27.16* Do not trust this equipment for your business communications. We invested in upgrading our existing PBX which worked great for years to the 6300 series specifically for the remote capabilities. This app was exactly what our business needed for easy remote communication. It worked great for a few days, now we can no long register any accounts, nothing works. Super buggy anyway, wouldn’t use it for anything else. I’ll take the blame for not thinking through downloading a random messaging app that asks for you number, but will offer you a warning as well. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — New update is working ok now on iOS *2026-08-16, version 1.33.14* After resolving a network configuration issue on our UCM6304, Wave on iOS is now working very well. Registration is fast, call quality is excellent, and both incoming and outgoing calls are reliable. I especially appreciate the detailed diagnostic logs available in the mobile app—they were extremely useful in identifying that the issue was related to the SIP/TLS network path rather than the extension itself. One improvement I would really like to see is clearer troubleshooting information inside the app when HTTPS login succeeds but SIP registration fails. A message such as “SIP/TLS server unreachable on port xxxx” would save administrators a lot of troubleshooting time. Overall, Wave is a very capable companion to the UCM platform, and after getting the network configuration right, the experience has been excellent. ### 5/5 — Powerful and easy to use *2026-04-14, version 1.33.9* This app is powerful and easy to use, the meeting setup is easy, I can use it to audio/video call, host meeting with internal and external attendees, message chat, OA process, AI helper, etc. And the desktop version even supports more features. I love this app so much that it supports my daily work very well! ### 5/5 — Works well. *2025-03-03, version 1.27.20* I love the search function - all our business contact names show up in the list. And I love the fact that I can be contacted anywhere anytime. I can even make paging announcements from it. Definitely a time saver. ### 4/5 — Was Totally Unusable on iOS - NOW FIXED *2026-08-16, version 1.33.14* EDIT- GRANDSTREAM HAVE NOW FIXED MY EARLIER ISSUES. THE APP WORKS GREAT. “Calls don’t come through unless the app is open and on the screen. I just get a missed call notification. It seems every other update to improve things will lower the phone call quality. Current bug- while on a phone call in the app another incoming call through the app will drop the connection to the ongoing call. Fix-put ongoing call on hold after other call is answered to reconnect to ongoing call.
