### 1/5 — Overhyped and Underwhelming

*2025-07-27, version 7.188.0*

I approached Granimals primarily for weight management and was looking for a structured, sustainable plan under the guidance of a dietitian. Based on their pitch, I signed up for a 3-months weight loss package that included nutrition consultations.

Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the reputation projected on Instagram. While the initial assessment was useful—especially in identifying flexibility issues and weak lower-body muscles—beyond that, the value delivered was limited.

The nutrition guidance was generic at best, and nothing exclusive or personalized that couldn’t be found with a quick internet search. My assigned dietitian was from Maharashtra and midway through the program, I was unexpectedly reassigned to someone else, which further disrupted the continuity and effectiveness of the plan.

After a single follow-up call—primarily to upsell an extension, which I clearly declined—there was no further contact or interest shown in my progress. It felt very transactional, not like a premium or personalized service.

In conclusion, I found the service overpriced and overrated. I'd recommend finding a good local physiotherapist or personal trainer and a hands-on dietitian instead.

### 1/5 — Cannot access app from iphone

*2025-06-24, version 7.188.0*

The app doesn’t provide an option to sign up. It directly asks you to sign in, which doesn’t make sense because you need to create an account before you can log in. It asks for a user ID and password, but there’s no way to set these up for first-time users. At the very least, there should be an option to sign in via SSO
