The Grants Management Systems, Inc., (GMS) Accounting and Financial Management Reporting System is not a traditional commercial accounting or government fund package adapted for nonprofit use. Our software is a grant and contract accounting system created and written specifically to account for grants, contracts, and activities. GMS, software provides a level of reporting which responds to all state and federal requirements, audit standards, and reporting required for the Board of Directors and management team. Our basic accounting package includes a General Ledger package complete with Cash Receipts, General Journal, Budgeting, Monthly Processing, including built in Cost Allocation options for leave costs, fringe benefits and indirect costs and a complete Month End Reporting System. Accounts Payable includes invoice entry, accounts payable check writing, manual checks handling and is loaded with Accounts Payable reports. Payroll includes complete employee files, time sheet entry, payroll processing and check writing. The system is fully capable of supporting additional add-ons to the system including Purchase Orders, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Direct Deposit and Report Writer, plus many other enhancements that can be added at any time to customize your system. With over 42 years of experience servicing our clients, we recognize the successful operation of an effective, efficient financial system requires more than simply implementing the software. For that reason, GMS provides comprehensive, flexible support including telephone support service from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm eastern time Monday through Friday. In addition, we provide a Service Chat room where GMS service and support specialists are available 8:00 am until 4:30 pm Monday through Friday to provide quick answers to less difficult questions or requests for assistance. I haven’t been able to make it in a few years though so this is my first time with the app. I love the app. I love the connection to everyone and to be able to find the schedule so easily.
