Being a product manager, I can say this might be one of the best app that is going to get popular very soon. In the beginning, the community was great—there were more relevant posts and helpful answers. But as it grew, the feed started getting cluttered with meaningless posts. Without a moderator, this was bound to happen. At this point, I don’t see much value in the app anymore, so I’m uninstalling it. ### 1/5 — Enable Notifications to see All Posts is a Bad Move *2025-03-13* Have used the app for a while now, and told many about it. In fact, I quite like it. Today was trying to see posts for my company and it said that I have to enable notifications for that. That’s below the belt - whichever PM or Designer made it happen. All the goodwill you have earned down the drain in one go. I hope you change this before I uninstall the app. ### 1/5 — Forcing users never ends well *2025-03-10* It really unethical that you are withholding users access to post if they don’t enable notifications. I will just delete the app and recommend my peers to do the same. How a noxious is it to withhold your users from accessing community generated content? What are you thinking with a decision like this, why should we trust you with our privacy? ### 1/5 — Misleading and Unreliable – Avoid This App *2024-11-05* I downloaded Grapevine with the hope of finding genuine discussions about workplace issues, but it has been a complete letdown. It feels more like a gaslighting tool than a trustworthy platform for workplace insights. I question the authenticity of most posts and responses—they often seem generated by competitors or an automated system rather than real employees. Rather than helping users, the app feels more like a way to track organizational happenings. For genuine concerns or questions, I strongly recommend speaking directly with your supervisors, HR, or trusted colleagues. They can offer real, reliable answers in real-time, unlike this app, which seems to mislead more than help. Ultimately, Grapevine feels like a waste of time, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and go for face-to-face conversations within your organization instead. **Developer response:** Feedback noted! ### 1/5 — Bug ridden *2023-11-25* App experience is good and design is functional and new, but notifications are bugged whenever I click I get below error: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'f.findIndex') I am getting this error from several months and I thought it would get fixed eventually but I guess your quality control is absolutely terrible. Notifications are pretty important aspect of any application and it’s sad to see broken here being a developer myself too. **Developer response:** Hi This is a really old bug, would suggest you to reinstall the app and try it once. Let's say someone has replied to your comment, you get a notification for it. When you click the notification it doesn't take you to your particular comment. I have the current updated version but it’s empty when checking the DM section. However if click on the notification area it lands to the chat.
