I have used this app for years and also the iPhone version. The iPad version will often crash without any warning, leading to all changes to drawing being lost. This problem did not happen for the first 3-4 years of using this excellent app. It appears the developer is not investing time into the product to ensure it remains functional on newer iPads - and/or updates to iPad OS ect.. I wish to continue using this otherwise great app, although looking for alternatives due to lost work = lost time.

I got this app over 6 years ago, and loved it. However, no updates, and it seems neglect, this app keeps crashing. Therefore, to use this GREAT (it really is) app, you have to save almost every change before moving on, or you WILL loose all your work. Very frustrating...I really need to find something dependable for all my work...please fix it!!!

i’ve been using this app for several years; for a certain type of 2d CAD, there’s nothing else like it. when it works, that is.

it crashes frequently, and you lose your work since you last saved, which is a manual process involving closing the document.

it hasn’t seen an update in a while, so maybe it’s time to move on.

A vector illustration app is what’s missing on this mobile platform. Graphic for iPad is the best that I’ve found. I previously wrote a derogatory review and found most glitches were remedied with Apples latest IOS update. My deepest apologies.

I want to start off by saying that this is a great app, and I agree with another review here that there are not too many good vector applications here on the ipad app store. Affinity, Amadine, Logoist, Curve, and Illustrator, are all good, but that’s it. Graphic definitely has a huge chance as well.

Unfortunately, it is not stable. Adding documents or effects results to a crash, and the programmers are no longer involved in the development. Therefore, I do feel it’s best the app be removed, otherwise people are wasting their money. But if the programmers come back, and continue with the development, which I hope they do, then I will update my review, and make a video review on this app. I do think it has a strong potential.

Some good features and the interface is OK but way to many glitches, bugs and crashes.

Changing the fill on a shape changes the shape to a rectangle the same size as the outer dimensions of the original shape.

Switching between gradient fill and solid fill crashes the app and looses the entire graphic so you have to start again!

These are basic errors.

Shouldn’t really by charging for an app until it is consumer ready.

This app has SO much potential. Not even the monopoly of adobe can touch it on the mobile platform. Modestly priced with so many bells and whistles. Sadly it is extremely buggy. I will append as many bugs as I can find but for now: What good is the grid for if you can see solid objects on top of it and why can’t you reposition it?  Images are there one minute and disappear the next. Layer blending modes sometimes work and then don’t or even allow you to get back to the layers. Save often because the app quits frequently. So much so, why can’t you save without closing out your doc? More suggestions to come as soon as my blood pressure subsides from using it.  IMH opinion this app could be the perfect marriage for anyone let alone artists and engineers on the go and even be priced a bit higher if it weren’t so clunky.

So powerful yet easy to use…. Right up until you try importing a font or anything from Dropbox. You tap Manage Fonts and get a useless popup “fonts can be imported using Dropbox”. No instructions how to do so. Ok so go to dropbox, select fonts…can send to literally any app except Graphic. Ok go back to Graphic, tap import, useless popup saying access token expired. Popup shows a log out button that you cant actually tap because the popup slides off screen. People paid for an app that can access custom fonts and dropbox yet these features cease to function a week after purchase. And yes I even trued deleting/reinstalling Graphic and dropbox yet the issues are persistent and render the app useless for people like me. Unfortunately an app with great potential became a waste of money due to lack of basic app engineering most likely caused by it being sold multiple times and passing thru too many parent companies that just dont care.

I would’ve hoped that the person who purchased this app seven years ago or so would’ve at least hired somebody if he didn’t know how to code to improve it so instead of five stars that it used to get now it’s down significantly so the guy is milking it for all he can get, which is fine because there’s no subscription but give me a break

Greta app, if you want all your work to disappear because you tried to use a basic function of said app. Been using it for almost 5 years at this point to avoid Adobe subscriptions and they still haven’t fixed a thing.

You cannot use this app and hope to complete anything. 
I Stopped using is a few years back after the last update RUINED IT.
I thought I would try again, as I am looking for a budget-friendly alternative to Adobe.
I tried using it for only 30 minutes. In that time, the app crashed FIVE TIMES, sometimes after only a few minutes, the longest was about 10 minutes.
Each time, I lost any and all work done. Fortunately, it wasn’t much… because the app kept crashing.

I noticed there are no replies to reviews now, so I assume it’s been abandoned.

This review is for anyone thinking of downloading this app….DON’T, IT DOESN’T WORK. YOU WILL NEVER GET ANYTHING DONE, BECAUSE….CRASH!!!

This used to be my go to graphic design app for ease of use, simplicity, and effectiveness. However, these days it’s close to frustration when trying to use. App crashes in the middle of use, causing loss of possibly hours of work. Last update was 6 years ago. Would happily pay more for an updated if it meant the app was being serviced regularly or even just minor bug fixes. PLEASE, programmers, Graphic team! Please don’t let this app die due to its inability to use it properly.

A vector illustration app is what’s missing on a mobile platform. Graphic for iPad could have easily been king. Probably only a matter of time until Adobe becomes the successor. Who knows, maybe they’ve already stopped Picta from updating the app like they did with Freehand and Aldus. Now the app is still in the store taking people’s money but when you run it, it will crash before you have a chance to blink. Illustrator’s app pales in comparison. Guess you are stuck with a desktop app — you might as well use Adobe Illustrator.

I have been using this app for many years. I now use many different programs for vector drawing, but I still use this one. Sadly, it looks like developer support has pretty much just fizzled out, but it still works. I was hoping that they would take it further than they did.

please create round corner for other shape, drag-able shape builder tool and few watercolor effect for shape stroke then its perfect! app size is relatively small and super user friendly! comfortable and has hex to add colour thanks heaps!!

macOS版がSequoiaで問題なく動作するように変わったと書き込みがあり確認できました
iPad版はどうかと過去に作ったファイルを開いてみたり、日本語で文字入力をしてみたりしましたが落ちなくなってます

良いソフトウェアなので、諦めていた方は再度テストしてみるといいかも

This is a brilliant app and it should be better known.

One thing I’d like to see added is a tool that can push my vector lines around as though they’re string or elastic. There’s a competing app which has this tool and it’s handy and fun to use. I think a similar tool would suit Graphic well.

So easy to use, import any PDF Vector based drawing sets the scale whether drawn by architects, engineers or surveyors.... add a mark up layer so you don’t edit the I ported layer and away you go add text, dimensions areas unreal for me being a town p,Annetts and building surveyor, share the amended drawing as a PDF..... have been using this app for about 10 years. Always look at what there is better and cannot find anything as practical and simple as this app and it works on you iMac as welll......  a few glitches are you actively updating?  I for one would be happy to pay for this software to be kept updates and improved.
