### 4/5 — Wonderful app, but….

*2025-01-05, version 1.1.2*

I am highly impressed with the capabilities of this app, it’s literally like having Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw in my pocket. However, the app will crash when trying to merge layers or when applying certain styles effects to objects in my document.

### 4/5 — 8 years drawing in here

*2024-05-30, version 1.1.2*

I love this app for drawing, self taught, amazing what you can do, the only thing that is very frustrating is you get well in to a design and it crashes, I would love the developer to add auto saving every 5 minutes, this would save so much time for all.

### 4/5 — Powerful Intuitive but buggy

*2024-02-21, version 1.1.2*

Great tool. Use it all the time but app crashes a lot especially when trying to delete a layer or apple fx’s.

### 2/5 — Very buggy and crashy on iPhone

*2023-09-30, version 1.1.2*

Crashes easily when deleting a Layer. Desktop version is much more stable.

### 3/5 — سين سؤال

*2023-05-02, version 1.1.2*

لما اجي احدف طبقة يقفل البرنامج بالكامل ليش

### 2/5 — 機能はいいのに

*2022-11-25, version 1.1.2*

UIに癖はあるもののエフェクトが色々かけられて重宝していたのですが近年更新が全くなく、 iOSのアプデも当然あり、そのためか使用中急に落ちることがあって使用には耐えられません…

### 2/5 — .

*2022-10-24, version 1.1.2*

Good app

### 4/5 — My favorite design app… however

*2022-06-12, version 1.1.2*

Every time I try to merge or delete a layer the app crashes. I already emailed the devs but no response. Would change go 5 stars if they can update or fix this.

### 2/5 — Outdated

*2022-05-05, version 1.1.2*

Was a great app several years ago, but it hasn’t been updated in quite a while. I experience frequent crashes on iOS 15 and as a result it’s becoming unusable.

### 3/5 — Update

*2022-03-06, version 1.1.2*

Is there any new update?

### 2/5 — It’s been a good app, but lack of development is weighing it down.

*2021-11-16, version 1.1.2*

I like this app, it was a good value for the functionality, because I don’t use this type of app enough to warrant spending a ton of money. But it’s been three years and it’s clunky to use because it doesn’t include updates for added iOS functionality, like better interaction with Files.

### 3/5 — iCloud ate my work

*2021-11-03, version 1.1.2*

I love the app functionality, my problem is when I use Files to move a file into a sub folder I create in the Graphic folder in iCloud, graphic treats the folder as a corrupt file, crashes and either deletes or makes the file inaccessible.

If I hop to another device I can watch that device make the file disappear as it syncs.

Other than that, works great.

### 3/5 — It worked well, until…

*2021-07-30, version 1.1.2*

I really loved this app until uploaded fonts started to not work. It needs to be updated to fix this problem. The workarounds are really not just worth it to bother with. It was very user friendly until the fonts started to not work like they used to. I spent too much time learning how to be effective in this app, and now the one feature I use a lot (texts/fonts) does not work for me anymore. Please fix this problem.

### 1/5 — Updated: Still Crashes on iPad Pro

*2021-03-02, version 1.1.2*

I use this app a lot, but there’s an issue with complex drawings causing the app to crash on iPad Pro, and losing any unsaved work. It’s very frustrating, but what’s really infuriating is that the company has known about this for over a year and hasn’t fixed the problem. If you’re not going to fix this, at least make the app auto-save more often. I can’t tell you how many hours of work I’ve lost.

Update: years later, and the app still crashes constantly and it’s still incredibly glitchy, with a few new problems. Some examples:

If you have grouped objects and you then use the eraser tool to erase part of the group of objects, the app glitches out and changes the canvas size to 0x0 and removes the background color. You cannot resize the canvas unless you close the file and reopen it. Hope you remember what size your canvas was. Undo does not work in this situation.

Sometimes undo doesn’t work in general. You tap it and nothing happens.

If you import a photo and want to resize it or edit it using points, the behavior can be very weird. If you want to erase the background out of the photo and cut out part of the image by hand by erasing and adjusting points, the app gets extremely quirky. You have to erase a little and move the points around, but make sure that you do not move the four outermost points of the image, or the photo will resize inside your cut-out area. You have to instead remove those outermost points with the eraser tool in such a way that other points you have already set become the new outermost points. This usually works but sometimes the image shifts inside the cut-out area when you do this.

Today I have a bunch of files I can’t open because they are “downloading”, but I’m not connected to the internet. I use iCloud with this app, which screws it all up. In the past I could close the app and do a hard restart but now that doesn’t work. I have slow internet, so if I get online they still aren’t going to download. If I want to open my files I will have physically go someplace with better WiFi. If I turn off iCloud all my files disappear, so that’s not an option. Really exciting to have a file almost done and get locked out of it because the app wants to download it from the cloud instead of just using the work I saved locally.

Still have no idea how to use tabs. It happens by accident from time to time, but I have no idea how to work in tabs on purpose.

There needs to be a dominant behavior between snapping to points and snapping to grid, and I need to be able to choose which one is dominant. These two seem to fight with each other. I’ll be snapping to the grid all day and then suddenly there will be some point that lines up just off the grid and I’m snapping to that for some reason. It’s infuriating.

Another annoying glitch — when I’m editing points and I have removed all curvature from the object, if I erase a point, the resulting line between the two points on either side is now curved.

If I draw a shape and want to erase a section out of the middle of it, there will be one or two ‘magic’ points in the erased area that, if o erase them, the entire erased area disappears. In fact, if you use the eraser tool to tap a circular erasure into the middle of the object, it will be the same point that causes the unwanted deletion, every time. Sometimes this happens with the outer perimeter of objects as well.

When I draw a tiny circle it will have four points. If I draw a slightly larger circle it will have five points, two of which are on top of each other. This makes editing circles into other shapes a real pain.

When I erase part of a shape, often a bunch of new points are added to the outline of the shape. When I erase part of the outline of a shape that has no fill color, the remaining outline will be broken into two or three separate paths, depending on how complex the original shape was.

If you enlarge the canvas you can not zoom in close on any of the new canvas area you’ve added. You have to close the file and reopen it.

If an object bleeds off the side of the canvas you cannot see the portion of the object that’s off-canvas, unless you move the entire object off the canvas. This isn’t necessarily bad, but I’d like to be able to adjust that.

There are times when it is preferable to edit an object off the canvas and then drags the completed object back onto the canvas. You can’t zoom in close on objects that aren’t on the canvas, so editing off the canvas is more or less not possible.

This app needs better warping and skewing capability. Big time.

These issues have been around for so long, I think the company is no longer staffed or they just don’t have anyone there who actually uses the app. It’s frustrating because I have hundreds of files and I go back and edit a lot of them regularly, so switching to a better app would be rough.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unstable

*2025-03-12, version 1.1.2*

I want to like this app, but it constantly dumps back to desktop. I’ll try it later.

### 1/5 — Abandonware

*2024-11-24, version 1.1.2*

### 1/5 — 0/5

*2024-10-28, version 1.1.2*

Zero stars..this app keeps crashing every time I try adjusting settings in layers. Wow

### 1/5 — Horrible tutorials

*2023-11-12, version 1.1.2*

Seemed promising but good luck finding any useful tutorials and the tutorials I found were horrible.

### 1/5 — Abandoned

*2023-07-07, version 1.1.2*

This app was awesome when it was compatible with iOS 12. But with the introduction of the newer iOS versions the app now will crash on your iPhone and iPad if you attempt to use some of the features. If you attempt to adjust the opacity of a layer or an image using the blending function the app will crash. If you try to remove a layer the app will crash. If you try to duplicate a layer the app will crash. It’s unfortunate that this app hasn’t had an update in 5 years. This was a great app that operated similar to illustrator on a mobile device. I love how it can import fonts into the app as opposed to having to jump through hoops installing a font profile in the iOS settings section. Other apps could learn a lesson n from PICTa on how to install fonts.

### 1/5 — نصب في نصب

*2022-10-14, version 1.1.2*

مجرد تطبيق بسيط لاستعراض الصور انتبهوا من الصور اللي بالستور ترا كذب في كذب ليست للتطبيق ولا انصح احد بالتحميل

### 1/5 — Not updated

*2022-06-12, version 1.1.2*

Used to be great but not anymore. Constant crashes on iOS 15 as haven't seen an update for 3yrs (iOS 12).

### 1/5 — Not updated or supported

*2022-05-20, version 1.1.2*

This app was last updated over three years ago, it crashes all the time and the developer does not respond to emails.

### 1/5 — Crash…

*2021-11-09, version 1.1.2*

I used to love this app, now it crashes every time I try to use it on both my iPad and iPhone.

### 1/5 — App Update??

*2021-06-18, version 1.1.2*

I used to love this app, but the lack of updates in a couple years is really causing issues. Sadly it looks like it was sold off yet again and I doubt the same team is still working on the development…. Will it ever be updated??

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — An almost perfect tool, left to rot

*2025-05-14, version 1.1.2*

The title says it all. Be aware that it crashes a lot, because of its current status of complete abandonment.

### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing, but...

*2024-10-07, version 1.1.2*

I have been using this software for years and it is indispensible. I am an artist and it is absolutely perfect for what I use it for. The only drawback is that it does have some bugs... though that won't deter me from using this app, I wish the bugs weren't a thing. Overall, I will continue to use this app.

### 5/5 — Отличное приложение

*2024-01-05*

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2022-07-12, version 1.1.2*

I’ve tried many drawing apps that lack simple tools to get your ideas down quickly. The smoothing feature is excellent for touch devices and does not require use of pen to achieve excellent lines. I often draw my images and export them to a paint program to color. I have this app on several iPads and now my iPhone. Love this!

### 5/5 — Best Vector Design App for iPhone

*2022-04-15, version 1.1.2*

There is just no other vector app for iPhone that can beat Graphic.

### 5/5 — Powerful and Easy to Use

*2021-09-02, version 1.1.2*

I’ve used Graphic for several years on my Mac and iPad along with Dedigner and Procreate. . Recently I needed to do a quick graphic and all I had was my iPhone. I downloaded Graphic and was surprised. I think the iPhone version is easier to use, more intuitive than its bigger cousins. I’m impressed.

### 5/5 — YES!!!

*2020-11-30, version 1.1.2*

There is a version for iPhone! The day you discontinue this app is the day I no longer want to live! Thank you BEST VECTOR APP EVER!

If you use an older iPad or other apple device this is the perfect vector app for you! Most of the vectors I have made were started with this app or Inkscape. You don't need any other app for making high quality vector graphics!

GET THIS APP!!!!

### 5/5 — Probably the best vector editor for iPhone

*2020-11-30, version 1.1.2*

Takes a little time to learn but either than that an amazing app. Keep up the good work. I see it was updated 2 years ago, I hope not discontinued as I don’t think there is anything else for iPhone which offers this level of vector graphics editing features.

### 5/5 — Great image editor for my phone

*2020-04-21, version 1.1.2*

I wanted to edit a graphic of guitar scale notes and white out all the sharp and flat chords. I was able to that and save it without any problems.

This app is amazing and well made! I love layers and the ability to lock them.
